    Afternoon all

Well it is the new year and I hope it is a happy, peaceful, successful one for us all. It was good having a friend here last night (her DH was working til midnight). We just chatted and had a nice time. Miss A stayed up but W went to bed about 9pm.

LL that poem is so apt, those dashes are SO important just wish DH's was not so short :( Seen to be even further away from him now we are in a new decade.

Ditto that serena, I have been fortunate enough to meet some of my new friends from here and hope to meet more this year :)

And with that I shall declutter myself to the shower!

Oh and I forgot to say thanks for my ironing award toots :D Although I shall have more to do by the end of the day as I have been saving up the washing for the last few days :rotfl: The aim is now to keep on top of it from here on in.

Happy New year to all, hope 2010 brings health and happiness to all.

I am tidying up after having 13 to stay - 6 adults & 7 kids - we all had a good time and dont have too much mess to tidy up, other than that its a pj day in front of the telly.

Toots - I failed miserably with the ironing challenge, all washing is up to date but not the ironing, will get through it this weekend, but can I have a star for THURSDAY please

    Hugs mumof2.

Well so far it's been a crap start to the year. I normally be in bed long before 12 but my sister and BIL called up last night and didn't leave until 3.30 this morning. Hubby and BIL both had quite a few drinks so hubby is still in bed and say's he has a sort tooth as well. So needs his sleep. Of course when i wanted to go to bed last night it was 'wait till i finish my drink' but what he seems to forget is that i get up with the kids in the morning not him.
Throw in he forgot to bring in coal so i'll need to do that to get the fire lit. Then our lovely dog took the runs in the hall so it's covered in poo. Hubby won't clean it as he has a hangover and i'm not to sure how the heck to lift it without me puking.

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Big hugs vanilla - not my kind of morning eeergh

You might feel you are further away but I'll bet he's closer than you think x

    So far I have
    showered, dressed etc
    emptied TD
Folded all washing and reloacted to respective rooms
Collected more dirty washing to start again

No message from DD's friends mum so maybe they aren't up yet :p

Cant do any of the bedroom as Dh is asleep but I am sure I can find something on the list to do, is coffee on there somewhere :rotfl:

Oh and next door have got numerous grandchildren staying running up and down the stairs  guess thats how noisy we are normally
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
