  • Morning everyone! (Checks to make sure it is still morning). Had a great time at the party we went to last night and tummy behaved itself.

I dont know yet how to put in quotes but Pigpen I hope you are feeling a bit better today. You are one of the rocks on this site and I always look forward to reading your posts!

L-L I hope you manage to do what is right for yourself, you certainly have the strength for it.

Mumof.. there are always rows BIG style this time of year, far too many expectations due to "holiday cheer", I always think if there was less consumerisiom around this time of year would be easier. I made it clear to all my family over Christmas that I was happy to see them, do the meals etc etc plan presents carefully but would be very selfish after and spend time on what I like doing (mountain walking) and they respected that. I expect one or two grumbled but I dont care!

Toots how are you today lovely?

My plan today is...............chill out! I always used to do too much and expect too much from myself from day 1 of each new year and would end up frustrated that it didnt happen.

The sun is shining here today so after a bit more coffee, will take pooches out and then tidy up the garden. Nothing major, just get rid of leaves, checl to see what is growing and what needs cutting back.

I wish you all a peaceful day,

    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
  • Happy New Year Everyone!! Hope you all have a wonderful 2010.
  • Vanilla - do you have some vicks or menthol stuff? If you put a bit under your nose the smell will help against doggy puke. I have to do that with the cat whenshe is ill.

If this year is anything remotely like the last one I think I may not be seeing the end of it.. :p.

KH was coming to get the children 'this morning' .. yeah right, so I haven't even bothered getting them ready yet.. he won't be here for ages. Cheeky f-ker said he wanted them 'sending clean' a he had no hot water so couldn't bath them. I can see the older girls loving being there all weekend unable to have a shower or wash their hair.. the boys won't care they are gross!

    I need a cuppa...

Nothing planned for today other than stomping about doing nothing.. I'm not tidying anything until they are back at school.. it is pointless.

Actally.. scrub that.. the christmas tree is going away. I am not feeling festiveor cheerful in fact I am downright miserable.. so that can be put away.. while there are no children to 'help'
