    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!

What is it with OHs at the moment ,mine really lost his temper again last night, instead of trying to smooth things over ...I gave him a piece of my mind...believe me this has been a long time coming.

He was basically told to get over it or get out.

I was up at 4am reading the thread as have a terrible cold and couldnt sleep so will be fluttering rather than flying today....why does a simple cold always go straight to my chest???

    Morning lovely ladies

have not been up long - theres a surprise! We had fireworks going off here from about 9 o clock so it wasnt quiet at all. When I did get into bed it was a disturbed night as of course the texts started coming in and then DS phoned at 10 past midnight, my first thought was oh dear whats gone wrong but it was just to wish me happy new year, its so sweet that he thinks of me in the middle of his party but he's home later today! I then woke up around 3 with a full moon shining on me through our velux window which we have never got blinds for - think that might have to change and then I got up at six to take pain killers for the headache Ive had since Tuesday
i was in the paper when I was born cos i was born on leap year day,
That makes 2 of us then ut not sure if I was in the paper - too many years ago

Kaz - hoping you DH has a safe night but I guess he'll be busy.
He was, the full 12 hour shift without a break and most of the jobs he had to do, he had a 25 to 30 mile run to. No wonder they cannot make the response times. Then the stupid management have 'spare capacity' today so they have put 4 vehicles on at the local station on what is usually the quietest day of the year, errr common sense says if they're spare you put them on the busiest night, not the quietest day which also happens to be a bank holiday requiring pay at double time :rolleyes:

Had a !!!!!! start to the year - DH and I were really honest with each other last night. We chatted when we went to bed and I told him that I love him but if it weren't for the children I wasn't sure if we'd still be together. He told me the same thing :(

    Great huh

Oh dear, sorry to be down
Hugs mumof2. At least you have been honest with each other and can now make a start on working things out. I wish you all the best x

Well I've munched my breakfast and downed 2 mugs, now going to see if my slammer shower gel 'does what it says on the tin' then I guess i etter prepare myself for collecting DD from her friends.

Massive hugs to everyone else who needs them (esp LadyLib)
