    Valli - I love carrot cake too.
    Serena - profiteroles are a great idea. I need to make something for pudding but only have two tiny eggs. It also needs to be something I don't like :o.
    LL - hope things sort themselves out as best they can

    I like todays list. DS2 and I have tidied the playroom and hoovered the ground floor already.

    OPTIONAL LIST FOR THE MASOCHISTS AMONG US!
    1. Tidy a cupboard or 10 of your choosing!
    2. Change any unclean beds
    3. Run appliances through a clean cycle.. degunk filters etc too
    4. Budget and meal plan for next month.. most of us will be a little strapped for cash.
    5. Clean pets out.. and their beds and bowls!
    6. Wash any grotty windows so you can see out.. and light can get in!
    7. Binbag dance
    8. Make sure homework/uniforms etc are ready for school/work next week
    9. S&S kitchen
    10. [STRIKE]Vacuum a neglected floor![/STRIKE]
    11. List 5 things on ebay/freecycle/amazon.. wherever
    12. 15 minutes filing/shredding
    13. Call a friend/relative you've not seen in a while
    14. [STRIKE]HHC-doing something[/STRIKE]
    15. [STRIKE]Empty out yours handbag of receipts etc[/STRIKE]
    DH has announced he is stopping drinking and smoking and taking up exercise :eek::eek::eek:. Not looking forward to this :p.

    Aaaaargh - got MIL and DH's 2 nephews coming over to have lunch here and I thought we were going out to lunch so don't have anything sorted. Have to be sandwiches again (MIL is Mrs Perfect in all ways but she knows her son married a non-domesticated nightmare :rolleyes:) Quickly hoovered downstairs (luckily not bad as did it yesterday), tidied kitchen and cleaned bathroom.

    Why do people do this? Do they not know I don't like surprises :confused: !

    been dotting about so list of remaining bits is now

    OH is going to visit his dad with his brother later so I am hoping to tackle my ironing pile and finish most of this week's lists.
