Im not sure i'd get £15 for it, people want something for nothing down my way! Think i'd just make £10...
I've been selling my christmas cupcakes that were nearly out of date for 50p(they really wouldnt of lasted the night!) and people were grumbling about that! That's why this could never be my full time employment and its a shame because I really enjoy it.
People shock me, its the same when you sell stuff on ebay, I sold a dress, bag and shrug from monsoon for 13.00 it was bought for 80+. She had a cheek to ask me to reduce the postage  Come on now, she got an outfit for 13.00!!!Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -
Im getting really hacked off with eBay at the min, people seem to be pulling the same stunt; if the item hasnt arrived within 2 working days of payment then they open a case against me and even if they do receive the item, they will still carry on with the case. I've lost quite a bit of money through this and cant really afford to put items as recorded-people wouldnt bid on an item with such high postage so my items would sell for pennies!2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

Have you worked out how much it costs to make Bluefire? Then you can add a bit on for your time and see what that works out at? It looks great though, really impressed
Yep, I've worked all that out. Managed to get the packaging at a decent price, however it meant I had to buy a pack of 250! I'm going to be selling these things for the next decade...
It's my time I always forget to charge for though. Because I'm only doing this to raise money for my wedding & not as a full time job it always feels like a hobby rather than something I should at least be earning minimum wage for! A lady I chat to in town who makes wedding cakes has advised me though that maybe it's better to go for a higher price & get less orders than end up slaving over the oven for hours on end not earning very much at all.
So I'm trying £10, wish me luck!Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00 -
I'm sure you'll be able to sell them for £10, they're really, really good. Think happy & you'll be happy

to the lady who wanted ideas for transporting and giving customers cupcakes my sister and i did a christmas fair (did brill ) and used clear yoghurt, pudding, coleslaw ,cream containers that supermarkets get them delivered in they are perfect and come in 6 holes or 8 (have a look and you will see what i mean ) they are clear plastic but cut easily into two or four ,people seemed happy to take these and for the fussy ones we covered over with cello . for transporting just put these in an apple box and then stack another apple box on top we got ours from sainsburys , you wont believe how usefull these containers are and how much it saves on buying boxes hope this is some use xxx0

Oops, I've only been asking for £6 so far! Here's the finished product with all the packaging:
I'll have to have a re-think on price...
Thank you for the info.
How much time do you spend to make one? Can you decorate at least 6 per hour? You can try 10, but 6 it's not to bad if you can make them fast.
Here you have my first attempt to make Christmas trees, few years ago.0 -
Well the good news is I've already had one order at £10, and the first lady who enquired has said she's willing to give me £7 now for one I've already made as she thought I wasn't charging enough too!How much time do you spend to make one? I've only made two so far, and they took me the best part of an afternoon to make & bake, and nearly an entire evening to ice. However it was my first time ever at making and icing biscuits so hopefully the more I do the faster I'll get. Unfortunately I'm in work every single day from next week up until Christmas so if charging £10 means I make more money but get less orders that could actually be a good thing (especially considering I've brough zero presents at the moment!)Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00
