Lovely.................
How much butter icing do you make up for the cupcakes?
For 12 cupcakes i use 125g unsalted butter and 250g of icing sugar, add milk or warm water for a smooth consistency if too thick.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -
I somehow ended up on this thread, by accident! - but those cupcakes, daisy with pink butterfly on, are absolutely a work of art! Fantastic! Also pictures of sugar flowers by another poster, beautiful. Too pretty to eat!0

Thats the same as me, I find I start to run out of icing sugar. I am using the muffin cases rather than the cupcake cases. I get it really smooth, but find I runout.Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -

what size nozzle are you using Esmer? i use a 1M, it could be yours is larger and therefore using more per cake, just an idea. i have got a plastic nozzle for buttercream but its very large even though its the smallest of the buttercream nozzles and that used loads, far too much for one cake.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -
