how do i not seem willing to listen the only thing that keeps popping up is get a dog walker which cant be done.

so let me get this right you think its ok for a dog to be in a house for 11hrs or more by himself 6 days a week?? dont fancy being your dog

I know damn well that my dog would prefer to be with me for a few hours a day and sleep for the rest of the time, if that was my situation, then be in a rescue centre.

It isn't perfect, or recommended, but don't say going back to the centre and being rehomed again is any better for him. Its a blatant lie. Have you considered that they might not think it worth rehoming him again if 5 people have given him up?

Don't come on here and accuse me of being a bad dog owner, when you can't be bothered to find a solution that doesn't involve giving away your dog. If you can't afford a dog walker, leave him at home, and make a fuss of him later. That's FREE. You can't dictate on perfect dog ownership, and then take the poor darling back. You aren't exactly the model dog owner right now, and I'm really glad I'm not your dog.

  • If you downgraded your car could you afford to keep the dog?

(I'm not having a go by the way, just asking a question)
  • Maka, just take the good advise people have given you and forget all the other !!!!. only you know your reasons and feelings dont let people get to you.

if you bothered to read the thread correctly it stays i pay £240 a month which im contracted to and im trying to cut back. congrats on despising frankly could not give a s h i t what you think. the fact is i took the car when things were different

It also says that you still want to buy a very new car and take out a loan to do so! If you were really concerned about your dog you'd buy a banger with the money you'll have from selling your car, but of course, that would mean not driving something newish, wouldn't it?

Come off it this has not just happened you did not suddenly get a phone call a few days ago saying that your hours would be changing! You must have had more notice than this! So why leave it so late? Why is your first inclination to get rid of him rather than find away to work around it. I hope you do find a good home for him as it does not sound like you have your priorities sorted and that he deserves a loving home.

its my choice to up my hours to meet our out goings and work offered me this as of the 4th of jan so could not turn down.

Anyway forget about it now what will be will be hey if its the rescue home for it again so be it. But hand on heart i hope we can find him a loving home with people who have the time he deserves

Well i have never heard the like, I was sort of feeling sorry for you intil your last post, but to call a dog it well i changed my mind. It seems to me that you had made up your mind to !"get rid" of the poor dog before you even posted. Maybe the dog will be better off with some one that doesnt call it an it, and some one with a bit more compassion.
