Why do you think im picking a fight. see what i mean bully board i was only saying i love my dog to bits but still call him it sometimes and that dogs dont count they smell. grow up please fighting is for school

How do you know a dog cant count? to me having a dig at that is also a form of bullying wouldnt you say? I bet not.
And maybe if you had read my earlier posts you would have seen i would have helped if i could have. I have contacts in rescue all over the country.Maybe if people were a bit more honest in the first place things like this wouldnt happen.

finally someone who read the name on the thread which clearly says help to re home our dog.

but as stated before by another op people just jump on the high horse and it becomes a bully site rather than help but people seem to forget that as long as they feel they are in the right

shame on you guys and gals
I did try to offer you help at the beginning of your thread

Yeah some of them are a little extreme
Selling up and moving closer to work???

Anyway no further advice to offer other than I wouldnt bother trying to rehome him yourself
Atleast at rescue centre they can vet potential owners and hopefully come up with the perfect forever home for your dog

hope everything works out ok for him!

Right, I will be bluntly honest here - yes, you asked for help rehoming your dog.

My advice is to always go through a rescue, rather than organising a rehoming through classifieds etc... a good rescue offers a level of security for the dog for the rest of his life, as they will have him back if needs be, and they are far more experinced in sussing out prospective owners than most people are.

If you cannot get hold of the orignial rescue, or if they cannot help, or you are not confident in their care for the dog, go through terrier rescue, or a good local rescue.

Whilst I am glad you posted on here for advice, and I hope your dog finds a good new home, (via a rescue, so it is homechecked etc.) if I am honest I find the sort of values and attitude that puts owning a shiny new car over the wellbeing of a sentient creature quite alien and very saddening. If it was me I would downgrade to a banger (well, I already have a banger :-) and hire a dog walker, but as I said earlier, you are not me, and we clearly have different priorities here)

However, it is not uncommon, sadly, for dogs to be seen as low on the list of lifes priorities, but it clearly does not wash well with us dog lovers!

Providing he is not a staffie x, and has no serious health or behavioural problems he should be relatively easy for a good rescue to find a nice home for. However, you may want to think about giving whatever rescue takes him a donation for their efforts.

I found myself in a situation, where my OH and I were working long hours. I used to take my dog out first thing in the morning, and make a fuss of him when I got back. I had no choice at the time, and thankfully this was only for a few weeks.

My dog was from a rescue, so his home was with us for life. I would suggest a dogflap in your situation.

no go im afraid for a dog flap live on main road and he does not understand not to run into the road
