Hi all
well things are not going all that well for me on the weight loss front this month. I really need to give myself a good talking to. So to get me in the zone for February I am going to:-
- reread my books
- watch my dvds again, and
- listen to my CD's
I am doing the Paul McKenna programme and when I was on board with it in November I lost 7lbs quite easily. However with being ill in December I kind of lost the motivation and have struggled to get it back this month. So I am starting again as if from fresh.
The good news is that whilst I haven't been following the plan at least I haven't put any weight on. Will let you know my final loss for January on Sunday.0 -
Morning all.
My Last weigh in of the month and see me with a 2 LBS loss, bringing me in at 10 st 4 LBS.
DH has gone to to work with a spring in his step as his non-diethas lost him a stone this month and he is now back into 36" trousers, and his blood sugars have been the lowest they have ever been, so his (old school) scary diabetic nurse shouldn't scowl at me for not policing his diet better.
How you done coco?
Food today is boiled egg and toast for breckie, soup for lunch, dinner is pot luck from the freezer as im working tonight.

Just realised I didn't put my weight in on Sunday, I lost a 1lb:j big surprise considering my melodramatics mid week, but so glad I've finally lost something. I lost a stone last year but have not managed to lose anything in the past 6 months, I am SO happy to finally lose something.
Hubby has talked me into going jogging with him:eek: so I am waiting for a sports bra to be delivered (pray for a postal strike please:rotfl:). Jogging is so not my thing.0 -

You may be surprised and love it. its easy to get really into running once you found your stride. im not running so often at the moment. but when i was really fit i used to switch off in my head the before i knew it be 6 miles away :rotfl:that was pants because there was no choice but to run back.0 -
i've put on 1lb today:eek: i have had a crap week this week and oh has been working late so haven't been able to get to gym:( will just have to do better next week and I have all my meals planned so that should help

I think walking to the station everyday has made a massive difference, i get 30 mins of exercise done and out the way before the day really even begins!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Bramble1: I´m sure the walking makes a difference. I walk to work and back too and take the dog for at least two walks a day and I know it helps me to keep in shape. Try to walk briskly whenever you can to burn more calories.
In the end I didn´t weigh myself/measure my height at the chemist because there were a lot of people there and I didn´t want to start taking my boots/coat off in front of so many cutomers so I will try and do it tomorrow instead and hopefully report a loss.
Stew for dinner tonight so I will make homemade chips for OH and have a small jacket potato myself.0 -
