Hiya
I've been soooo good since I started this but I'm so down today I've just scoffed a box of ferroro rochers - ok it took me an hr but still. OH has no work this week so I'm job hunting for him, tidying up, making the bed, emptying the bins etc. He won't shift himself and he's not helping me and it's really gotten to me this evening. I had a bit of a weep before cause he's out at the football. I really don't know what to do with him sometimes... I feel like his mum, not his partner
sob story over; I'm back with a vengenance tomorrow. Promise. thanks for letting me get that out luvlies
Sam x
Oh you poor thing. It happens. Good for all this time, and under stress..now put it behind you. Perhaps the foot ball is your OH's box of chocolates? Its unlikely he'll feel like talking because he probably already feels bad...but perhaps when he finds work you can encourage him to spoil you a bit?0 -

No problemo!
Lemon Chicken
Juice of 2 Lemons (before you juice the lemons save the rind from 1)
3tbsp (approx) olive oil
2 garlic cloves - crushed
chicken breasts ( i like the sainsburys quick cook thin ones)
add the lemon juice, olive oil and garlic in to a bowl with a little bit of salt and pepper and let the chicken marinade in this, pref overnight or for a few hours at room temp
Grill till cooked though
Garlic Rice
1 large chopped onion
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 tbsp oil
175g ricE (i guesstimate this, probably use more!)
250ml chicken stock
2 tsp lemon rind
2 tbsp chopped herbs (i just used dried)
Preheat oven to 200C
In a caserole dish fry the onion and garlic in oil till golden, stir in the rice till coated with oil
stir in stock, lemon rind and mixed herbs, bring to the boil
Cover and cook in oven for 40 - 50 mins - stir a few times while cooking
Sometimes you need to add a bit more stock

Im backwards in coming forward this morning...if i had any sense i'd go back to bed and stay there before i do myself an injury, already put the butter in the freezer by mistake, and put dirty washing in the dryer instead of the machine...its going to be one of those day's
Food today is porridge, soup, and i fancy a roast...its so cold today, it also has the advantage that im only cooking one meal for everyone (if i manage to peel the spuds without chopping a finger off..lol )

lol! it's not a problem - REALLY! You do it when you can, especially if your not well too. I can sympathise cos I'm full of a cough and cold at the moment and not got much motivation, just really want to stay in bedbut that's not likely to happen, so just keep plodding on.
On a lighter note, took DS to mum's and tot's this morning and resisted the toast and the choccy biscuits
I had a bowl of porridge with a spoon of golden syrup in this morning, after taking the advise of all of you who have it too for brekkie, just to see if it kept me full, and i'm pleased to say i'm impressed!! I was kept full, I didn't want anything till lunch and then was full again after a cheese and onion roll and a cereal bar and a glass of orange juice. So i'm well pleased, think I will be having it everyday from now on!
Tea tonight is HM stew and dumplings (only a small one for me!)
Have a good day all.:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0
