  • Hi all!
Well done to all the people with loss (losers didn't sound quite right!!!). I did a night shift last night which has sent everything a bit haywire but I've almost kept within my cals and will cut down over the next few days. Its made exercise a problem-I must do lots between now and my weigh in on sunday.
I was really pleased with myself yesterday teatime. I was starving after a nap and made myself a BIG plate of bacon and eggs with all the trimmings but all cooked with fry light so as healthy as it could be. I got half way through the enormous plateflul I'd made and stopped as I was full-this NEVER EVER happens!! I saved the rest of it for my breakfast before I went to bed this morning IYSWIM. The amount I had did add up to 403 cals but I was so pleased that I'd stopped.
Right better get dressed and go and walk up the hill to collect dd from school.
    July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.
Myself, DD, 2 cats, 35 weeks pregnant.
    Debts- CC's- V-775, F-1253.10, BC-3291.80, T-1429.08. Total-6748.98. All 0%. Aim- to pay £200 per month.

    I've been Money Tipped!
OK, I had planned some salmon for supper, but I just don't fancy it. In fact I'm simply finding it hard to get excited about food at all today, which IMO is a bit dodgy and not great. Part of the problem is that I have a very minor head cold and blocked nose, so need to breath through my mouth which is putting myself off food, I know it will clear while I eat but its getting o that point thats tedious and less then attractive.

I'm thinking of maybe having something like fried egg and beans? Warm sort of nursery food?

Also, have been pleased because am starting to feel a bit more energetic again. I don't exercise while under the weather because I carty a high risk of post viral syndromes or something, but it really is just a light head cold so put the radio on and danced for 15 mins earlier, extra to walk (which shattered me its been so long) and then, just now, felt a bit energetic and so took one of the dogs out for a bonus 15 mins. surely this all has to help? :0

Well done!! This is all very Paul McKenna-ish. I find it so hard to leave food on my plate, especially if it's something really tasty that I've made myself. But then I tell myself that I can always have it for lunch/dinner the next day, and that usually works as then I don't feel like I'm 'wasting' it andf I get a 'free' lunch into the bargain. :D It's harder to leave delicious food on my plate in a restaurant, we have yet to become comfortable asking for doggy bags in this country (and waiting staff have a terrible attitude towards them)!!! :o

Mmmm, egg and beans. Nursery food is definitely the way forward if you're feeling a bit rubbish.

I've got half a portion of rice waiting in the fridge so think I'll rustle up some chicken and veg in a chicken stock sauce to go with it. That will still only take me up to about 750 cals for the day so I might have a treat. Hmmm, what to have?
