I went, with the intention of buying, past the fish and chip shop. I parked, I got out of the car, I walked towards the fish and chip shop and turned around and got back in the car and cme home.
I don't often have things like fish and chips, but I just feel ''blah''. Not very ill, just like I needed some piping hot, indulgant food.
I don't seem to have much here, or rather, I don't feel like cooking properly.....so I'm going to spoil myself to a hot chocolate after my cold supper. I feel like I should lose a bonus pound for by passing the fish and chips.0 -

Have you lost say 4-7lbs a month for 2 to 3 months in a row?
If so and your feeling "drained" it might simply be your body needs a little break, might have hit a plateaux and you might benefit from bring up the calorie in take to maintain weight for a couples of weeks or so.
Just a thought.
hehe noooo i've only been dieting for 3 weeks! Othertimes i've done it it seems so much easier, i'm just not feeling it at the moment, I'm going through the motions but just don't have the excitement and determination that i usually have on projects!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Been feeling really blue and doing the usual - comfort eating which just makes me feel guilty and even worse. Don't know what's wrong with me, but felt really tearful yesterday and today and taking refuge in choc biscuits:eek:
Anyway tomorrow's a new day so going for a 2mile walk after I've dropped the kids off at school, will try to eat s-l-o-w-l-y and drink lots of water.
Have to remind myself to check this thread each day as well, feel much more motivated after reading how well everyone is doing:T0 -

Could it be hormonal? If it is, eat well all day, and give yourself a carb/choc treat allowed for AND do something for your feminiity too. a scented bath, nail painting....anything. Whatever the cause: tomorrow wear nice shoes, even if just to hoover/iron in. GO FOR AWALK. Just ten mibutes if its all you can spare, more if you can. Walk briskly, get some air in your lungs and some sun :rolleyes: ok grey glowon your face. Also, lostinrates special: turn on the radio to a non serious music station (don't tell a soul but heart is mine) and SING and dance about. MAke sure you smile. Those three things all realease happy hormones.
The minimum prescription is three sngs you like. This might mean you have to go through a few terrible songs first or inbetween. You can do this in the car (ok, no dancing) or at home. I promise all the above will help, even if just a little.

Thank you, I will definitely be taking some time for myself tomorrow, the walk I do takes me about an hour, just have to remind myself to walk briskly, if I start daydreaming I slow down to a stroll:rolleyes:
It's not hormonal - that was last week - just feeling generally !!!!py, so I eat a choc biscuit and get all annoyed with myself for eating a choc biscuit - I know it makes no sense. So.. new day tomorrow, big smiles and a boogie with my baby:D0 -
