I've been really rubbish this week with exercise, have just felt so tired and unmotivated. Still going strong with no coke and crisps, think the lack of caffeine has hit me. I've had cola everyday from a young age.

Anyone have any suggestions what I can do to give me some energy?

If you are eating enough calorifically then perhaps its the wrong stuff? enough fresh vegetable and fruit do you think? Too much starchy food? What ar you having, instead of coke? Perhaps try a herbal tea? I often have a cup of hot water with a spring of rosemary and a slice of lemon. I won't say its yummy exactly, but its got flavour, and feels healthy which is inspriing, and rosemary is excellent for good breath, which feels also earnest and committed :o. TBH, I find I rely a lot on caffiene.

I'm eating a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit, I've just not done anything to replace the coke I was having which I think is the biggest problem as I was having 3 bottles a day - two whilst at work.

We just had tears, as the dress I was going to wear for BIL's wedding next Saturday is miles off fitting me......I guess the reality is I've put on a stone and a half since I last wore it :(

Well done everyone. I'm not doing too well here. I struggle with SAD and the current constant greyness is taking its toll. I'm hitting the comfort junk food in the evening at the moment. although I'm doing OK during the day ( mostly).

If I've lost anything it is on a diet of crisps, chocolate and alcohol :o

Hi Guys, I've been out of the loop for bit but am still committed to the cause :)

Doing ok here I think, staying the same, not losing though. Main problem is driving everywhere I'd normally walk (we live in a badly hit area of snow/ice: on a hill, can slide down on foot, but not get back up, so have to drive a landrover up and down the hill, even to our field :(). Have been driving LOTS to do errands for neighbours too...groceries, trips to doctors, vets etc, so spendning more time sitting in car than even doing housework etc...and embarrassingly I find all this driving quite tiring, so not getting much done here at all. This evening came home to find somene else had fed chckens, cats and dogs and I almost wept with relief, whch akes e feel really a bit pathetic.

Also, someone noticed a couple of weeks ago I'd lost weight...I was overwhelmed and quite embarrassed...how weird is that? Anyway, its still a long haul, but wanted to touch base and say I'm still fully ommited despite my absence!

Welcome back LIR!!!!!!!!! We missed you, and sorry to hear you've been having such a hard time lately. Hope it gets better from here on in xoxoxo

I am no longer looking forward to tomorrows weigh in!

Has anyone tried couting their calories from say..6pm - 6pm rather than a conventional day? I struggle in the evenings...but i'm thinking if i start my calories then, the rest of the day when i find being healthy easy should be a doddle....make sense?
