  • Hi, I got weighed today and am now 14 stone 13, so a loss of 2 and a quarter pounds which I'm pleased with as I haven't been particularly good. I will be good from now on. I so want to lose lots for my holiday in 13 weeks.
Been very good so far today. May have to have a very early night to prevent nibbling!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi Guys, I've been out of the loop for bit but am still committed to the cause :)

Doing ok here I think, staying the same, not losing though. Main problem is driving everywhere I'd normally walk (we live in a badly hit area of snow/ice: on a hill, can slide down on foot, but not get back up, so have to drive a landrover up and down the hill, even to our field :(). Have been driving LOTS to do errands for neighbours too...groceries, trips to doctors, vets etc, so spendning more time sitting in car than even doing housework etc...and embarrassingly I find all this driving quite tiring, so not getting much done here at all. This evening came home to find somene else had fed chckens, cats and dogs and I almost wept with relief, whch akes e feel really a bit pathetic.

Also, someone noticed a couple of weeks ago I'd lost weight...I was overwhelmed and quite embarrassed...how weird is that? Anyway, its still a long haul, but wanted to touch base and say I'm still fully ommited despite my absence!

Argh, been providing the 4x4 taxi service in ice, had a mole removed, been working, and DH was in an accident so nursing too, then, final straw,my laptop broke (I actually wuld still have had net access via other house hold computer, but just fel overfaced with it all)! Frankly just been overwhelmed with life for a bit, but laptop came back this morning and thought I better get back on track, especiialy as everyone sems to be able to get their cars out today, its still not great underfoot, but the roads themselves are clearing substantially, and its no longer impassible!

Flipping heck, what a series of horrible things - I think I'd have taken to my bed in a strop if I were you! I hope you and your DH are both ok.

I've been really rubbish this week with exercise, have just felt so tired and unmotivated. Still going strong with no coke and crisps, think the lack of caffeine has hit me. I've had cola everyday from a young age.

Anyone have any suggestions what I can do to give me some energy?

    Evening all :)

Im right on your tail dragon :)lost another 3 LBS 6 down another 21 to go,

sorry to hear you've had a horrid start to the year LIR can only hope its "dun & dusted" and things pick up for you and the other's that have had a rough start.

I had a bit of a fright tonight i dug an old WW book out for some menu ideas and in the back it had my old weight's marked in, my starting weight this time was the same as my start weight 6 weeks after having DS3!!
Is it just me seems the older i get the harder& slower it becomes to keep my weight off, it didnt seem this hard in my 30's i suppose i will end up living off a lettuce leaf a day in my 50's

If the sun does shine at any time, go out for a walk as sunlight can help you feel better and more motivated. As you walk, visualise yourself slimmer and perhaps it will motivate you to walk a bit further/do more exercize and more often.
