Lizzie Dripping - 1lb loss is great
- I'd be happy with that this week. Especially as you've eaten out and had a takeaway too
Don't beat yourself over what you've already eaten, today is a fresh start.
I completely agree with this :T Any type of loss is great, it shows you're on the right track. And just think, if you can eat out and have takeaways and still lose weight, your losses on "normal" weeks will be even better
Nicky, what kind of things are you classing as treats? If it's food type stuff then I manage to fit in a pud quite a few times a week (meringue nest or a mini bag of popcorn, both 50 cals) or a glass of wine every now and then and it's working for me in terms of not making me feel deprived of nice stuff. A week can be an awful long time to be so strict with yourself so your new way sounds better to me!
I'm back on the porridge today, ugh. I want about 47 pieces of toast and marmalade :rolleyes:0 -

I have a little treat every evening :rotfl:which is either options hot choc drink & alpen light bar, or WW cookies (the lemon/ginger or cranberry/orange are gorgeous), so my other treats are of the non-food variety, so perhaps a book, or new top. I so rarely manage a week without any diet slip-ups that I can't remember the last time I actually got a new book or top as my treat! My smaller non-food treats are going to be long soaks in the bath, watching a film/tv without feeling guilty that I'm not doing chores, or a magazine.

I'm still to weigh in last thing before bed, will post in the morning, but then I'm going to start weighing in on Wednesday mornings (to be consistent with my Mum and Dad) so will report Tuesday eve weight and then Wed first thing weight which should be less! Just so it doesn't look like I'm cheating!0

Hi really struggling this week. Was managing fine last week but I have been eating masses so far this week. Being at work is the worst. But hey ho three weeks to the end of the month so fingers crossed I will still make my 7lbs this week. Need to get back in the zone.
Well done to everyone who has lost weight congratulations.0 -
I'm finding it quite hard to motivate myself this week.
I have no use of a car - silly me forgot to get MOT done week last week - so dh has been dropping me off at work and I've been bussing it home - garage can't fit it in until next week!! It's still so icy I haven't walked anywhere and haven't been able get to the pool to swim as I'd hoped - so little exercise done!!!!
I've been nibbling on wine gums and Christmas cake which are left over from Christmas too - and DAREN'T even open a certain cupboard which still holds Christmas chocs (got loads from kids at work!!) - but I have resisted so I must have a tiny bit of will power somewhere!!
At least with this thread - I'm thinking about how I'm doing and might be able to pull myself back on track before weekend - or at least a bit of damage limitation LOL - and not just blowing it after first bad day - THANKS Dragon
DD had a was improving nicely but has had slight set-back and her return home has been put back for now - I wish I was nearer to her. Thanks for all your good wishes.
Tomorrow I will be having porridge, beans on toast and apple. Not quite sure about tea yet - probably Spag Bol. And hopefully not too many wine gums along the way.
Some good weight losses going on
