I'm reporting a 4lb loss this week
I wish I had signed my husband up for this challenge too as he has lost 7lbs!!
Yesterdays meals consisted off:
Special K with skimmed milk for breakfast
Salmon and cucumber sandwich on brown bread with an innocent smoothie for lunch
Home made fish pie with red lentil mash for dinner.
This mornings breakfast consists of poached egg on brown bread toast0 -
Well done everyone. Saz, 2 1/2 lbs is pretty impressive, don't be disappointed!
I didn't realise it yesterday but my loss this week took me over the 4 stone total loss target, woo hoo!
WELL DONE!!! Its a great feeling isn't it? I was in my 5 stone loss bracket before xmas, but put 7lb back on. so am hoping to have lost something this week to get me heading that way again!
Actually, I have been getting on the scales at home over the last week, just to 'see', and it started off saying that i was 19 st 10lbs ( they alway's say different to the shop scales ), but this morning it said 19 stone??
So I'm hoping they are right and that i have lost - well finger's crossed!:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -

– last night I got up and went down to the kitchen for 4 dark chocolate C*db&rys chocolate fingers. I ate 4 as it was 100 cals and the C4 programme had rubbed off a bit. I had found the box earlier yesterday (whilst doing a deep clean of kitchen to take my mind of food) I had hidden it as my Christmas treat, but as I had been ill, I had forgotten and not eaten them. So off the package then up into several more 100 cal portions as allowed treats.
Fab idea! Although you have much more willpower than me, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from eating the whole box :rotfl:
Thanks for the compliments ladiesCurrently feeling very bloaty and TOTM-ish but once that goes away I'll be feeling fab. It's very satisfying to buy smaller clothes!

Hey
Didn't have the best of days yesterday - OH got made redundant on friday and I ate and ate and ate whilst I sorted him out (getting the CV sorted etc.). I felt so bad about the wine and chippy tea that I was up at 8.15 am this morning and have been on a cleaning fit since
My kitchen, bathrooom, bedroom and living room are sparkling. Haven't touched his games room as he's in there on his x-box so I'll give him a bit of space until later when he starts job hunting.
Today I've had two bowls of cereal, umpteen cups of green tea, a cranberry juice, a strawberry flavoured activia yoghurt, and a handful of grapes. Not sure about dinnner yet but it will be healthy and filling
Taking things one step at a time; weigh in on tuesday but not sure if I want to after yesterday!
Hope everyone's ok

Coco1980, I haven´t tried this myself, but someone once told me that a few slices of ginger and lemon makes a refreshing hot drink so maybe you could try that to use up some of the ginger.0

I will be routing around in my freezer today looking for inspiration and the fish I know is there somewhere – to make a fish pie. I will have to make 2, one for me and one for the rest of the family as the hospital have just confirmed I have an allergy to shellfish KCS.
KCS - I have made fish pie recently by leaving the prawns out of the main dish and just stir frying them quickly at the end and just added them to the plate as I serve up - the reason I started doing this was because I think they get a bit rubbery if they cook for as long as a fish pie gets cooked.

Coco - you can grate a load up and freeze it with some water in ice cube trays, transfer to a bag, then you have ginger ready to add to recipes.
I like slices of ginger and lemon in diet lemonade, a bit like ginger beer.
Sam - I hope you are feeling OK now. Can't blame you for having a bit of a binge, hope things soon get better for you both x
I've changed my tactic slightly and am now checking the calories in everything. Being a total geek I have set up a spreadsheet with all of my regular eats and add new foods as they are eaten. I just enter what I ate and how much and it calculates daily totals, weekly, then plots a graph haha!
Hope you are all having a good day.0
