Just off to do the grocery shopping. I plan to make a big vegetable curry tomorrow and freeze a few portions. I find that with the cold weather I am hungry most of the time so at least curry is warming and if I use loads of veg it should be filling and fairly low in calories.
I haven´t weighed myself since new year but I feel a bit thinner so I will weigh myself next week.
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.0 -

Wow so many people have posted! I must go back and catch up with all the news.
Not been feeling brilliant this week, but even so it didn't stop me eating..... why is temptation so hard to resist?
Anyway, I have lost 2 1/2lb this week, not as much as I'd hoped for, but at least I haven't gained any, which is nothing short of a miracle!Lose 7lb a month challenge: Jan0 -
I have been a bit better today... had a late brekkie and just had dinner. They were quite unhealthy though as we are staying at OH's mum's this weekend and she hasn't been able to get to the shops for days!!
So no fresh fruit or veg in the house. We are going to go grocery shopping for her tomorrow as she doesn't have a car.
Breakfast: boiled egg and 2x toast
Dinner: 2x grilled back bacon, 1x fried egg, 100g baked beans, 1 slice toast

Thanks Alexnikov, reading through I saw that a few had struggled with this week, so at least I am not alone.
I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to get out for a nice long walk, but by the time I felt better the snow had arrived.:o
Still, there is always next week, although I think I will have a better chance if I bought some skis!
Congratulations on losing over 4st, that is pretty amazing!:T:TLose 7lb a month challenge: Jan0 -
Morning all,
Im late up this morning so going to be an hour behind with everything today,
The plus is im feeling more positive about my diet today last 2 days has been hard with the cold i've just wanted to curl up with comfort food but ive been good so quite proud of myself.
food today is mushrooms on toast for breckie, roast dinner for lunch (more veg less roast pots) and veggie soup for tea.
Actually this diet had some odd side effect's im become so much more organized across my whole life, house is tidy, ironing up to date, books are done and tax return submited on time, everything just seems to be falling into place.
So many thanks to Dragon and everyone, sometimes it can be so hard joining in on a already established challenge thank you all for making me feel welcome and quite at home0 -
Hi, I'm reporting a 2lb loss this week.0
-
I didn't realise it yesterday but my loss this week took me over the 4 stone total loss target, woo hoo!
Well done - 4 stone is amazing :j It is great to hear such good news.
Well this is my first weekly weigh in and I have lost 2lbs, putting me at 13st 9lbs and 46% fat according to my scales.
I am finally over my bug, appetite and sweet tooth back with a vengeance . The weight loss over my illness has stayed there so I am 12lbs and 4% fat less than the beginning of December. (Yes at one point half my body was fat, hence the motivation)
Planning slimming meals has been difficult as my store of fresh fruit and veg has severely diminished, must brave the snowy/icy conditions and go shopping soon. I must admit to being a total wimp driving in these conditions and leaving it to DH.
I will be routing around in my freezer today looking for inspiration and the fish I know is there somewhere – to make a fish pie. I will have to make 2, one for me and one for the rest of the family as the hospital have just confirmed I have an allergy to shellfish (and wasps – which started the whole thing). I always put prawns in for taste. I suppose I could use the last of the double cream in the family one and lots of the left over Christmas cheese.
Now for the guilty confession– last night I got up and went down to the kitchen for 4 dark chocolate C*db&rys chocolate fingers. I ate 4 as it was 100 cals and the C4 programme had rubbed off a bit. I had found the box earlier yesterday (whilst doing a deep clean of kitchen to take my mind of food) I had hidden it as my Christmas treat, but as I had been ill, I had forgotten and not eaten them. So off the package then up into several more 100 cal portions as allowed treats.
Thanks Dragon and all you folks, especially Alexnikov for your all inspiration and support.
