Only made it to work Monday this week, off Tuesday anyway. Much digging of snow mid-Hampshire to get moving the last couple of days and this afternoon I'm starving!! Had to walk to the shop to get some food too.
Increasing veggie intake - I quite like the Sainsbury's bee good to yourself soups. High in vegatable content, fairly low calorie and quite filling. This coupled with porridge made with 1/3 semi-skimmed milk 2/3 water for the liquid helped me a lot last year.

Well done on the progress Dragon :T

For what it's worth I'm not a fan of Slimfast and other "special" diets. Just real good food within appropriate calorie limits to get good habits established for the future for me.

I so want to make the recipes from the Big Fat Diet Show last night, but can't think where to find plain frozen yogurt. Does anyone know where I would find it?

Hi tara I was thinking about this too and when I saw the recipie I realised they had just sued normal yoghurt and frozen it themselves beforehand, here's the linky to the recipie

Congratulations to all the users you and all doing great. :T

My weigh in is on the 15th so another week to go. I am enjoying watching the Paul McKenna show on Living and the Great Big diet show on C4, both are giving me motivation which I need as my time of the month has just started and I am craving sugar like no tomorrow. Trying hard to resist but DS has just been given a late xmas pressie which is a top and a selection box and he has been the offering the chocs around to me and OH. Trying hard to resist but its thorntons and they are so delicious.

Anyway good luck to anyone else who is due to weigh in soon.

Weigh in on Sunday, although I am very nervous as don't feel as though I have lost any at all.

Need to watch My Big Fat Diet on 4OD from last night as I missed it, I'm interested in seeing what they do with the crisp addicted lady as I am terrible for crisps. I have managed to cut down my full fat coke to coke zero (will cut it out completely when I feel ready) and my usual 3 packets of crisps a day has been dramatically reduced and I have only had 2 bags all this week!!

Is it OK to join if you don't want to lose quite as much as 7lb in a month? I was more going for around 4lb...and of course I've started a week late!

I actually felt quite sympathetic to her, as opposed to the chocolate obsessed one who I was quite ranty and nasty about :o

That's two really positive steps that you've made Bunnie - loads less sugar and salt in your diet just by making those changes. Hope the weigh in goes well :)

Yes, of course - welcome!!! :T

I thought that crisp woman was quite infantile, I can't abide faddy eaters. I mean, having to be coaxed like a toddler to eat a tiny mouthful of bananas/tomatoes/ham, !!!!!!. They're normal foods! I would send her and all faddy eaters off to the Third World for a bit, see how they get on then. Sorry if this sounds harsh but it really annoys me. Half the world is starving and in this country we have people like her. Gah.

Anyway, today has officially been Very Bad for me. Grr!
