Nimma is that normal for you? Not wanting to worry you or anything but what you've eaten isn't very healthy .... Too much cheese is not good for you hunny ..... You need to be careful you don't start becoming malnurished

    Hi,

No it's not normal for me. I really don't like cheese either. I had such a busy day today that I didn't get a chance to cook proper meal so ended up with the sandwiches.

Want to swap normal tea for green tea as well.

    hiello again!

So I'm now starting in earnest

First rule, which I find very difficult is eat breakfast. Since I was a child, I've hated brekkie, remember my Mum trying all sorts to gwet me tp eat in the mornings, but it's not me,.

However, I'm resolved to lose 2 stone this year, so I gotta do it right.
Have had porridge with dried fruit in for brekkie yesterday and today. I like it, but I know I'll slip if not careful. I need quick, nice non-milky breakfasts...any furhter ideas?

I weighed myself at 13 stone 10lb. Oh Dear.

Hope everyone's well, I have barely any snow here, but it's forecast for later, so we'll see. Still cold though, think I need a cup of tea.....no biscuit, though so what with it?

    Still not got a steamer...booo!

    xxxx:A

You're welcome. What's a thaw? We got another couple of inches last night. Of snow I mean!!! I think this is the coldest winter I've ever experienced, or at least the whitest. The snow's been on the ground for what, 3 and a half weeks now?

    Sorry to go OT everyone!

Bad start to the day. I has shortbread for breakfast. :oWill now revert to being a good girl.

I succcumbed to temptation yesterday and ate rather a lot of chocolate coated peanuts/raisins. All the time they were in an unopened bag I was able to ignore them, but dh opened the pack and the the temptation was just too great. The rest of the day went according to plan though so that's good :)

My plan to go to spinning class this morning was scuppered - dd2 is off school because the heating in her classroom has broken down. We've been out for a little walk this morning in the snow and I'm hoping to squeeze in a go on my new wii personal trainer thing.

    Morning all
we all are having an unexpected day off, woke up to a snow shower, the school has closed and they dont grit the roads round our way so a day off work too. Hubby and i took the dog out for a long old hike, and ive been good but i so fancy now just curling up on the sofa with a mug of tea and a packet of biscuits,
Im glad ive done a cottage pie for tea tonight, im in no mood for salad, with soup for lunch should hopefully keep me warm and see me thru the day without picking.
Im definitely feeling alot better in myself and less bloated, im peeing for England i think with the processed food i had been eating over Christmas id retained a lot of water.
My portion sizes are still a bit of an issue for me im still not active enough for the size of meals im having. i had porridge this morning im still eating double the serving size it states on the box but i dont have sugar and use skimmed milk, and having large portion's of veg but very little potatoes and bread,
Any one have any idea's on reducing portion sizes without ending up hungry?

Okay been to see the dietician (nice chap!) and they want me to get up to 1,800 kcals (about double what I am having :o) - they want me to follow the food-wheel so I am to have 7 lots of fruit and veg etc - should be easy enough! (I'm even allowed to save my treat kcals for gin!)

Lunch ideas increasing veggies - how about wholemeal pitta stuffed with salad (topped with cottage cheese or tuna)
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

do you like dried fruit? apricots, raisins, prunes, dates are all good

i always scatter it onto the porridge to make it go further, and fill me up. like you, i eat too much of all good stuff as well as eating bad stuff hence my weight!

i'm trying to be good....still not been bad tody..not a great achievement, but small steps...!
