Simac, I love that, can't wait for you to start so that I can see your updates.

Great work ladies, though you are all tempting me again.

I will take a photo of the finished sheep later and upload. Can't see how to get them off the phone so will ask my brother to take a look on Sunday and see if he can figure it out.

I spent 3 hours the other day downloading the software to allow me to do it and it still won't work.

Hope you are all well and enjoying a lovely day of stitching.

    Hi there Awesome2

I have never done one -but I have just found them a bit cheaper :j
I have never used the site though (someone else on here may have)

    http://www.stitchability.co.uk/silhouettes_cross_stitch_kits.htm

I don't think they look difficult as there seems to be big chunks of 1 colour -so I would think they should be quite quick....

My 86 year old mum did 2 of them last year (well, she was only 85 at the time), so they must have been quite straightforward because she is rather impatient !!. They turned out lovely, all I did was a bit of top stitch that she couldn't see to do properly. I framed them as part of her Christmas present and she has them on her mantelpiece.

They're not very big so I think they are a bit expensive at £11.99 but I've not found them much cheaper elsewhere.

    Linda :)

PS if Mum still has the charts and has not scribbled all over them, I could try scanning them into my PC and e mail them to you ?

a pleasure to meet you, I'm a big fan! ;).

Pleasure to meet you too - pop round for a banananananana daquiri any time :rotfl:

Well ladies, I've been up since the wee hours and haven't been in work today but not managed a single stitch so far:eek:. I have been shopping though and stocked up on longer length vest tops at Primark to see me through to the big day (hopefully);)

Just about to make dinner then I'm settling down to some serious stitch time this evening - want to get the unicorn out of the way cos my orchids are glaring reproachfully at me as I type :o

Have a good evening all xx

    Hello ladies

Please help, I have abandoned the idea of stitching something for my dad for his birthday, but I still have the aida I bought for it. Its 27 count. There is a sampler I want to do for my friends wedding (end of Nov - so should have time!) but the magazine only gives how much 14 count you need - which is 25x33cm (10x13in) and it says when framing a minimum aperture of 18 x 23cm (7x9in) so can I do it on the 27 count and how much do I need?

    Thanks

    Elaine

    oooo I love them!!! :j

My grandparents would like them I reckon. They look really easy, pretty straightforward as far as I can see, but very striking
