I haven't been on for a few days but just ordered my first HAED
It's Rachel Anderson's "Garnet" can't wait to make a start on it. I have been working on a baby sampler for my granddaughter due at end of March and just got the border to do now so will be ready once the chart arrives to make a start.

Yeah! I love Garnet, it is such a gorgeous picture! I very very nearly bought it myself a while back when MrsM mentioned her. I only chickened out because of the size of it! I was secretly hoping MrsM would choose her next so I could see how she looks. I'm so glad you have chosen to do her!
Please can we have lots of updates! I'd love to see how you get on with her :j:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:0 -

Ooooh definitely does sound like a sign! Perhaps you are destined to sew this picture to hang in your new home! I think it's lovely.
. oh, and is your tag line from the splendid Mr Burton?
I bought one of these at a craft fair a few years back; it's been on several flights with me now, without any trouble at all. What's more, if this is the same as mine, it's got a magnet on the back so I don't lose my needle when not working
I saw one on a website but it was a bad photo and i couldnt tell if it would do what it said it would do, thanks Nanny Ogg (a pleasure to meet you, I'm a big fan!).

It most certainly is! I was going to delete it after Christmas, but then I thought nah it'll soon be Halloween :rotfl:
My son loves the film so much he has asked me to do this picture for him. It's my next project after the polar bears! Not everyones cup of tea I know, but I'm actually looking forward to doing a proper project on black aida.:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. MrsM thanks for letting me know just how many pages Garnet has!! I did a huge horse racing project in 2008 and that was 8 A4 pages so now I'm looking at 3x that. Wow!
I have a huge favour to ask you seeing as you said you have her waiting to do.....no worries if you can't but I was wondering if you could PM me the colours needed for her so I can make sure I have the majority (at least) of them for when she arrives.
I WILL be posting pics when I start her for you all to see.£2 savers club. No.90. Aim £500.0 -
Hi Poppet
No problem -I will post it on here if no-one minds, then if anyone else decides to do it they will know what to order....if it takes up too much room I can delete it once you have written it down .... are you ready? :rotfl:- 032 -kreinik #4
