Well, just home from lunch etc at my sisters - there were 8 of us so it was a nice gathering. She, her hubby and one son are full of cold and my mum was worried about getting it (she's 87). Her hubby's mum and sister are still there - they always stay till about midnight which I think is overdoing their welcome. They asked if they can go round for lunch tomorrow as well!
We sorely missed my sister's dog Coda, a beautiful 13 y/old doberman who was put to sleep a couple of weeks ago. He loved mince pies !
It's nice to be home. I'm having M&S mini pies and chicken tikka skewers for tea, followed by a few of their cherry liqueur chocs.
I'm thinking of my ex-colleague and good friend Richard who is having a break over Christmas from his chemo treatment for liver cancer. Love and best wishes Dickie.

:santa2:hi everyone, i'm back... i've not been on as i've had really bad flu. i've never had flu so bad, i was in bed for days, then sick and dizy for days and only now just beginning to feel like myself again. Xmas was a bit of a washout but luckily i dogdged my folks and spent 2 days being cared for at my fiance's parents.:xmassign:

i havent been on since the 18th, page 311, so i've quite a bit to catch up on.
