Not that I am going to the craft shop to buy it today, I think I might just put a tiny dab of glue in each corner and sprinkle some glitter on them
EDIT: Ah.... is it this? http://www.sewandso.co.uk/ran504-0.html Is it worth the extra effort in your opinion? x
Naughty, leading me into temptation, I've just had to bookmark that link . I love to try new threads !

I am currently stitching the European Bistro. Have a look here siamesecraftstitcher.co.uk Kits are about half price and postage is free!. I have bought several kits and have had no problems. They are genuine Dimensions kits. (No connection with site, just a happy customer)
This is the second Dimensions Gold kit I have stitched, I have a few more waiting and another under the Christmas tree! I would recommend them. They are huge but as you say, the detail is great which I love. Not too much backstitch either.0 -
ohh PP that isssss a good site......... bookmarked.
GRRR best laid plans.......... DH now reckons he's sick so isn't going into work (I can't actually remember the last time I booked a days holiday to have 'me time' that he didn't ring into work sick. ETA: ohh just been upstairs assuming he'd gone back to bed while i'd been out but he hasn't so must have gone to work. :j:j shame he'd left the lights on and the back door unlocked (hmm tres MSE).
So stuff the chicken (literally) it's getting cooked this morning then being carved later and left in the fridge in gravy over night to just be popped back in the oven tomorrow in time for dinner - I'm not slicing my fingers off tomorrow while a hyperactive DS runs round my ankles.
AWW bless DS tho - just took him to childminders and normally let him out the buggy to run up her road - asked him today if he wanted to and got "noo toooo cold". then he was most put out cause her daughter wasn't there (my fault i assumed she would be as no college today so told him she'd probably play with him today).
argg the more the consultant lowers my steroid dose the more my morning sickness comes back - i feel awful this morning and the last thing i want to do is spend the day cooking and sorting pressies out. oh and for the first year ever DH hasn't got a christmas card from me cause i forgot till last night then couldn't find one this morning. luckily i managed to find a replacement from DS after loosing the other one.
would it be wrong of me to put 1 of the 4 crossants in the oven for brekkie?? there's only 3 of us tomorrow so it's not like it will get eatennnn...................and it's not like we are short of food anyway.

I'm in the office until 2 o'clock then working at the pub tonight from 6. We have a Buddy Holly tribute night starting at 9 so should be a good night.
Would like to fit in a little stitching time this afternoon, but need to have a bit of a tidy up first.
Have a lovely day everyone :xmassmileMarried 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

I plan to switch off my computer (to stop me looking on sew n $o for more cross stitch to buy!!) and instead will have a tidy up - stick a second load of washing on - pop up the corner shop for some last minute bits and then sit in front of the tv watching columbo with my slanket - may be the cat and of course my cross stitch !
Merry Christmas all !0 -
I am going to spend an hour picking what to do next... I have another cartoon styl!e cat in mind... I promise I will go through my box of stash next week though.
I need to get something together to take to !!!!!!'s mum & dad's tomorrow.
Might whip the hoover around, but then nothing else... a luxurious day of nothingness.
Be good all xxx0 -

Have been into town and got the final few bits n pieces for tomorrow. Have been to the docs because I am full of cold and been getting chest pains.....needed reassurance it was nothing to worry aboutI knew the pains were because of the cold but my Dad has a dodgy ticker so I can't help worrying
Doc says I am fine
Typical for me I stay relatively well all year but the few days leading up to xmas I get the mother of all colds!!
Have already pushed the hoover round and got out frozen things to defrost so I think we are ready to go!
If I can stop sneezing for 5 minutes I might do some stitching later.
Kez. Those cards are lovely!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
