Thanks for the offer, I'll try to remember for next time
Mind you, this is the first time I have run out of a colour from a bought kit, usually there's lots left over.Ruth_honey wrote: »Off topic, but I just wanted to pop in very quickly and let you know that my Grandma passed away on Monday night. I'll catch up with all the posts when I can, but I won't be able to get online much for a couple of weeks.
Sorry to read this Ruth. Take care of yourself. x:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I have had a frustrating hour trying to put my piccies on Photobucket...seriously thinking of moving to a different site...which do you prefer?
Anyway, my latest Astronomer work can be found here. I haven't got an awful lot done, but it is slowly getting there!
I also made this Valentine Card for my DH, it came from the Valentine sampler in World of Cross Sitching Issue 160. I adjusted it a bit, using reds to match the card I already had, and using 1/2 stitches to make it look a bit better.
I am also trying to get an All-Blacks rugby bear (World of Cross Sitching Issue 159) finished for my DS2's birthday card...his birthday is this Thursday...so must get a move-on! Again I am changing some bits with a few half-stitches. I will post a piccies when I have finished it.
I am also knitting a jumper for DH whos birthday is in mid-March.
As I am trying to keep the card and jumper secret from the respective recipients...I can't wait for them all to go back to school/work tomorrow so I can get more work done!!
Need to get some baking done today too...a woman's work is never done!!
Have a great Sunday.

I'm getting REALLY fed up of photobucket - it always freezes at 100%v no matter how many pics i upload. also using IE or firefox seems to make no difference.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Sorry to hear your sad news Ruth
Just got back from a few days away in London visiting my bro and his family. Had a family room in premier inn so sadly dh had to sit with kids while they nodded off and I sat in bar watching rugby league on tv, having a wee drinkie and stitching the tortoise. All family is tired today so plan on carrying on with stitching this afternoon while kids loaf around - needs to be done by Wednesday (technically) although won't see the recipient for a couple of weeks yet so got a few days grace. Then am going to get me some of that new fangled aida with grids drawn on and start something big for me for a change!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
