I'm so glad I don't need to go out today!

Santa 9 is finished!! I just have numbers 7, 8 and 9 to make up into decorations. May be a job for tomorrow.

I ordered some threads and fabric to start on the Micheal Powell wedding sampler that someone very kindly nudged me - I doubt I'll be seeing them in the next few days! I may have to get back to the backstitching and detailing on two UFOs. Arghh...I hate that bit....:D

I got my clip frame today :j excellent service from http://www.artsanddesigns.com/ posted yesterday and arrived today. I hope to get back to Csar after i finish this last xmas card.
My other half is into RC cars, so I think we will be going out for a bit of 'crawling' in the snow.
hehe, are we related?? My other half has just bought the Tamiya Jeep Wrangler Rock Crawler and is building it up as we speak. He even bought a spade so he can make a track in the garden ;)

    hi everyone,

will read & catch up in a moment, but wanted to first ask if anyone has World of Cross Stitch 164? i'd like to see the 'stitcher at work' charts before stuping up and buying the 'sewing hobby' bothy threads kit, or ;). i got the mag before that one and can see some in the preview. it's not for sale on ebay from a UK seller, but i did find a piccy of the mag in case it joggs anyone's memories...

He's not call Joe is he? ;) It got a bit snowed and will now only go forwards. *rolls eyes*

I did a small bit of stitching yesterday on the snowflakes I'm trying to do, so I'm up to two completed ones.

I'm off out tonight to a local church to have some carols by candlelight, how romantic with the snow outside still. :A

    Hello folks

Has anyone with the Flickr screen name huongoasis tried to join our photogroup? I've had a Flickr join request, but looking at that person's photostream I'm not sure that they are part of this little group - unless as a lurker.

I set the group up as invite only so that we could keep the membership to the people who post (and read) here.

If you're out there, leave a message here and I'll accept your invite on Flickr :T

I've not managed any cross stitch this weekend :(

Today - I have just been too tired and although I did start something, I knew I wasn't in the right frame of mind so thought I might make mistakes and thought it best left until another day.

I've changed my mind about my xmas project - its going to be a row of cats now (the bothy threads design). The kool kat design that I was going to do is too complicated - there is too much white so I was going to start with the cat's hat but I can't work out where to place the first stitch on the material so that I don't run out of material. Its also my first time using magic evenweave in fact my first time stitching on evenweave so it was driving me dotty !

I'm dreading the coming week and can't wait to finish for Christmas. Last year I spent far too much time on my computer looking after my farm - this year I intend to spend far too much time cross stitching :rotfl: so if you don't see much of me on here then you know what I am up to :rotfl:

Hi everyone, I'm back. I've just spent a week down at my parent's house in Brighton where we had the most snow I've ever seen there (though apparently not as much as they had a couple of weeks ago.

Just before I went to visit them my parents came to me to help fit the new bathroom so in the space of a weekend the bare brickwork was transformed and I now have pretty walls and for the first time in 3 years there is a bath in my house!! I'm very excited and am going to go have a soak in it in a few minutes.

It looks like you've all been busy while I've been away and there are some gorgeous new projects that people are starting.

we'll have to add each other as neighbours and tell each other off!! :rotfl: on the plus side i am up to level 108 i think. with 7 quite impressive farms.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
