ruth honey - i zoomed in on the photo link to your Banksy pic, and honestly cannot see any grid lines. ok i do need new glasses, but i know what i'm looking for. if you dont point it out, will anyone notice? (yes you'll know, but it'll be our secret, ok?)

i love the blue as it's bright and cheerful but think the wooden one actually suits the picture best, the blue almost distracts from it.

I felt exactly the same for our works night out - wee fat pudding in the corner - all the other women looking so glam in their wee dresses. I now have a school reunion to go to now and feeling it even more.
bless you! that's me too! it used to be ok, i was a bit slimer and everyone there was nice, but now i'm more pudding-y and one of the 'WAGS' is a real barbie-b!tch. i usually get on with most people, but when she walks up to you, looks you up and down (like some american model tv show), sticks her nose in the air and walks off without even replying to your "hello, how've you been"... i know i shouldnt let her get to me, but it's hard when someone obviously thinks you aren't suitable for the venue!

They have a punchbag hanging up in their hallway (from the celing) and the cats love to get up there and sit on top of it. Silly things!

As for my hair, I tried two different curling tongs, but not sure it's going to work, which is a shame as my hair at the back is quite long, if it doesn't I will be putting my hair up in a twist with a butterfly clip ;)

both sound really nice. my hair is so thick and now reaches the small of my back again...
harumph that i can't get it trimmed before tomorow night. i rang the family member who always does it once a year but she's too busy. stupid me for leaving it too late. what a great time to get a whim that says "if i have a chunky fringe cut in then no-one will notice i'm fatter than last year"! :rotfl: :o :rotfl:

Congrats :T:j:T Hope you are doing both doing well and ready to enjoy your 1st Xmas together :)

Thanks all for the birthday wishes, it was much appreciated :) I got some belated birthday money today and have decided to buy the clip frame that you all rave about. I normally use a hoop but since stretching the Lions in it, i'm a bit worried about doing it again.

EDIT: Just bought the 11"x11" frame for £11.19 delivered :)

I sent the sew and so link to my daughter when she asked what I'd like for Christmas, so hoping she's got me it for me. I currently use the 'grip and stitch' frame but it's not great for really large pieces.

There's a lot of people with hangovers in the office this morning, not me! So I've got the radio on loud and am doling out the nurofen :rotfl:
