Thanks for the washing tips. Vanish didn't work, so it's rolled in a towel, inside a pillowcase washing in the machine as I type...:eek: I'll let you know the outcome.

I've been trying to decide which frame to use for my Mum's spool tree. Nothing is standing out at me, so have roughly framed and taken pics. Could you please take a quick look and see what you think?
I also have another blue frame exactly the same size & design as the darker blue one, but more of a pale, powder blue. The pink or purple I don't think would go because of the reds in the design.





So, silver, dark blue, paler blue (not shown) or wood? (or something different-need to go shopping if so!)

Also I roughly framed a xmas pic I stitched ages ago. It'll do for this year, but will frame it better in the new year.

ruth honey i like the third pic down if thats any help, im still stitching dil xmas gift and a little stitch lamb kit from dmc, but there wasnt enough thread in kit so i paniced emailed dmc and bless them there sending out extra thread so i might get it stitched and framed for my friends birthday, just before xmas shes mad on sheep so ive knitted her a pure wool scarf and fingers crossed this pic keep safe and warm everyone

Well, the stitching is in one piece, but the marks still haven't come out. I don't understand it. Not sure what else to do. My brother probably won't even notice, but I'll bug me whenever I visit. Should I leave it, or buy some vanish liquid and try it in the machine again?

Thanks. That border takes longer than expected to stitch. Well worth the time, though. I really enjoyed stitching it-both times!

Glad to hear your wee dog is feeling better. I now have teenage cat who is getting a little frisky. Hard to believe she is nearly 9 months old now. Hope you had a lovely birthday too.

I felt exactly the same for our works night out - wee fat pudding in the corner - all the other women looking so glam in their wee dresses. I now have a school reunion to go to now and feeling it even more.

Well I done a little stitch but using an old computer so can't upload - will maybe try at work tomorrow - if I can work it out. It is of a wee cat at the door for christmas - thought i can give it to hubby from the kitten.

PS Thanks for muffin recipe - I use a banana bread one but put them in muffin cases - easier than cutting loaves.

Yay for my hubby :j He's popped home to get changed before going out again and changed the blown bulb for me. I might do some stitching this evening now.

Can't believe your kitty is 9 months already. Is my 'Hanging Out' pic a scene from your house? :rotfl: My friend won't put up a tree now as she's sick of the cats destroying it. They have a punchbag hanging up in their hallway (from the celing) and the cats love to get up there and sit on top of it. Silly things!
