    Hi all
Haven't really had time or chance to read back and catch up, but wanted to let you know, I had a little girl, Charlotte Megan on Friday we had 3 nights in hospital but are now home and enjoying being a family of 4.

    Congratulations! :j
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
  • What size and shape aperture do you need i have some downstairs. mostly oval but i think some either rectangle or square too.

Thanks for the offer Craftygranny the size is 12.5 X 10cm, but don't worry about it as I fly home on Wednesday (snow willing) for Christmas so even if you have the correct size, I don't think it will arrive on time.

Congratulations on the birth of Charlotte Welshlassie, what a lovely early Christmas present.

Ohh and I can't remember which of you was the teacher, I've only done supply since April 30th and teaching full time the 10years before so I am well aware of how much work gets done in the holidays. Try to set aside at least 1 do nothing day for yourself over the hols.

Right now pics, this is the finished fish picture for the bathroom but still need to frame it.

I havent done any stitching for a long time as I had a minor operation which ended up being really serious and has taken a long time to recover from but today is the first day I have been able to do anything so just had to rush through findmeagift to get all my christmas presents as I had nothing because i didnt know how ill I was gonna get and I couldnt resist popping on here to say hello to you all. Im hoping that if i have managed to get online today that I will get some stitching done tomorrow because I did save and buy

School is over for two whole weeks plus a day (yippee) So begins the stitching in earnest.

I'm not sure if I was the teacher someone was referring to earlier - there are a few of us around but tbh was planning quite a few days for me! Don't like working too much when the kids are off cos they deserve to have a mum playing with them, so am going to plan our fortnight with dh tonight so we get time as a family in between his shifts and my stitching:p

Congratulations Welshlassie and welcome to the world Charlotte Megan.

Bubbles - sorry to hear you've been ill - we missed you
We have to decorate our:xmastree:tonight and then tomorrow we are off to find enough snow to make a :snow_grin as we have hardly had any so far this year and dd is getting  every time we see it all on the tv.

i'm so glad its the weekend - its been a long week. I'm having an alcohol free evening as I want to be bright and bushy eyed tomorrow rather than hungover (like i was on Thursday following a birthday bash on Wednesday evening). :rotfl:

I have all my presents to wrap and my xmas cards to write but I might save this for Sunday and have a day of relaxation and cross stitch tomorrow :j will finally decide on xmas project !! keep finding more contenders !!

Think i was the teacher as I was moaning about the 6 sets of reports I had to do but I have just finished:beer::beer: so am off downstairs now to get doing something for me and try to ignore the 4 carriers full of exercise books. :( My dd has and ear infection so I have had to have a day off today and work were not too pleased and let me know the policy that states that if 2 days off are taken due to children being ill then the second day would be unpaid. What do other peoples employers do just out of interest? I know that my school is not a charity but it just seems annoying when I am very healthy and go in when a bit under weather but others don't bother (or maybe theie children are ill and they are lieing?);)

    Congratulations Welshlassie :happylove
Bubbles welcome back, sorry you have been ill.

    Right bring on the craft!
