the thought of 42 alone would fill me with dread. I have a carebears one which i think is 8 and I am delaying that grately. i did one as my very first ever project and messed it up within half a page - started again and didn't use enough material so couldn't do about 40 lines either side.

i do like my smaller projects as you can see the final effects much quicker.

Everyone's work is a labour of love, just we all do big projects at different times. :j
It is based on a painting, I fell in love with it. I think it's because it made me think of the Scottish Highlands.


Kez - She is amazing isn't she. I love the deadly sins range, but I don't think I would attempt it (couldn't do just one!) I can't even pick one favourite! :rotfl:

Chicky - Oooooo carebears??? Which design is it? I used to love them. My mum bought me the 25th anniversary collectors bear last year My daughter keeps trying to steal it :rotfl:

hmmm can't find emn online - i'll take a pic later in week. They are by DMC i think but i can only seem to find 1 official kit online. tho just discovereed a (stroppy) USA seller who has bears and cousins chart books so may need to try and find uk ones......

I doo love carebears, but i think i only have a small good luck bear now

I know I've seen a few Care Bear kits very recently. Been racking my brains and I *think* it must've been at the stitch shop in Cheney Manor Industrial Estate in Swindon just before christmas. I am pretty sure they were reduced, but can't remember what they were or how much. If anyone is interested, I can get the phone number of the shop from my Mum (it's in her stitch shop bible!) and you can call them for more info.

Maybe one day I'll attempt a HAED Got enough to keep me going for now...

Morning ladies.

Been through my stash twice now and nothing is really shouting out to me to be stitched.........they are mumbling a bit but no shouting

Instead I think I'll put some time into looking for a kit/chart for my Mum's 60th. It's not till next April but I want to get started so I know I'll have it done in time (fingers crossed)
Don't have a kit in mind except for it to be flower/gardening related.

Added both to my basket, went to check out only to receive a message that they are no longer accepting orders?!? I have sent them a query to ask if it's temporary or permanent so will have to wait for a reply.
I can get the Rose one elsewhere online but can't find the Fuschia one anywhere.
