could stitch the poem with a nice border??

Here is what I've started now. I love Margaret Sherry's animals they are so cute. This is going to be for my dd as she loves baking and also got a ginger cat! Thing is already I've made 4 mistakes already (have unpicked them) 3 in the teapot and one in the tray :eek: so what's that about. :mad:When I did another of her charts the kittens in the 4 mugs I only did one as the mistakes were just tumbling out and I gave it up as a bad job. But going to persevere with this......I hope! Do you think it's cos of the half stitches throwing me?

Just got to get it framed now, there is a really good man at my local market on Saturdays who does made to measure really good value - I think it always looks so lovely to have a frame made the right size rather than try and fit it to a commercial one. I hope they like it....

And as I see no reason to do anything twice, am happy to post the chart to anyone who might want it? Obviously you'll have to buy aida and thread, but it is a lovely pattern :-)

well ive been looking at borders all afternoon and i dont seem any further foward i thought of lillies but cant seem to find one even a L shaped one :mad: but i cant thank you all enough for your help and the full phome is so appt as they were both lost one on and one years later just after xmas day

I have done my scissor keep, it's lovely but I cant find my phone cable or remember my photobucket password so will post a pic tomorrow- I love it:D and it's one less thing off my stash list too:o
I also started MIL a scarf for Xmas about 12cm in so should be done by next week, more money saved:money:It's knitting up lovely too. Rocky point will get done one day:rotfl:

I have it on a heart pendant from the same company - beautiful words aren't they. I hadn't heard the whole poem either until chickywiggle posted it.

I never do any design twice either, the only time I broke that rule was with a map of scotland picture which I sent to my uncle after he emigrated to America. I loved it so redone it for myself...and now my BIL is eyeing it and wants one for him and my sis :rotfl:

Sorry if I have missed anyone, I love seeing all the progress pics. Mine isn't coming along much atm, been mega busy this week so have done very little, and I keep falling asleep when I do pick it up

Got DS's birthday tomorrow (11!:eek:), around 20 family for a party in the house at night, a dinner dance on Sat, and a Halloween party to organise on Mon night -hopefully I can spend some of Sunday stitching

I've decided that as I have no free time at home due to having a full time job and a part time job, I am gonna have to start stitching in my lunchbreak. Sorted the threads for my wedding sampler yesterday and finished a little cottage wall hanger for h2b's daughter and husband who are moving house next month.

I'm working tonight and tomorrow night but have all day Sunday free to stitch. May have a sort through my stash as well and put them in 'order of doing'

oh that's such a lovely poem.

i've been too stressed with contemplating moveing that i havent picked up my stitching all week. i know it would help with feeling stressed and overwhealmed, but i just can't or wont do it. odd i know. ho hum.
