Maybe you could knit a blanket! :rotfl:
*Louise* I am in awe of your cross stitching, it's lovely and making me feel all christmassy.
I'm sure it's the same for you all but I am literally addicted to cross stitching now, it's so therapeutic. I've finished my Mum's xmas pressie project already! I wish I could post photos just cause i'm dying to show it off (even if it is pretty basic) but I've definitely caught the craft bug. As well as doing a couple more cross stitch pressies, I'm thinking I may make some heart shaped lavender bags with little velcro hoops so you can hang them in the wardrobe. Just won some lovely floral fabric on ebay.
I'm 21 and my friends think I'm a massive granny for doing all this!
Have a lovely Sunday everybody:A recovering shopaholic :A

Louise - fantastic work...you really sew sooo fast!
Dorastar - glad you enjoyed your crafting classes...should really see if there are any classes about here..and if there aren't...perhaps I will start one myself!!
Well...at last getting rid of this cold/flu thing...still not finished my first Kats from Kelly yet as wearing glasses has been too painful/uncomfortable for most of this week. Also, a small hole has developed in one corner , so trying to change the border to sew over/through it to hold it together and distract viewers....hope it will work. Will post piccies when I am done.
I have been knitting this week instead...got my first pair of socks done and now onto the second pair...but eager to get back to my cross-stitching.
Have a great day everyone.

that's a lovely scene Louise, very seasonal for such a long time, better in that way than xmas themed i think :T

Morning ladies.
Here's my weekly update pic
Once bottom border is finished I need to decide whether to leave it as it is and don't put in a border at the top, do a double border at the top or just a single one.
Any thoughts?:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

It's lovely, makes me feel summery just looking at it!
I can't remember if there is a top border in the original design? I think a single border would look good though, a double would make it a bit top heavy (imo)Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Finished 'Sweet dreams' this morning - would have been done last night but I decided to put a border on which took nearly as long as the design itself :rotfl:
Going to get it framed for my nephew's Christmas, was originally going to make it a padded door hanger but I think that's likely to get grubby over time and it can't be washed - if it's in a frame it will stay nice and clean.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Thanks! In the original design there is just a single border. I agree with your double border comment so I think i'll just do a single at the top.Finished 'Sweet dreams' this morning - would have been done last night but I decided to put a border on which took nearly as long as the design itself :rotfl:

That's really cute!kezbabybabe wrote: »This weeks progress:
