Thanks for your links and suggestions. I've found 3 kits that I really like, and ordered one of them lol. Going to keep looking for the other 2 on ebay. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can get going on it Good job hubby is away surfing this weekend lol

ohhhh i LOVVEEEE them. also just noticed your signature..... my boy is addicted to that song and we have to keep the family guy episode on sky+ for him. he walks around moving his arms up and down frantically going "mmmm nnnnnmmmm nnnmmmmeeee" to the tune

I love that episode...we kept it on Sky Plus for months til it got accidentally deleted lol... I was so gutted!

I try to think of it when I feel a bit down... the sight of Peter doing the Bird dance usually brings me back

did loads of knitting on the train today- and I know this sounds mean but it also stopped people sitting next to me even though I didn't have my bag on the seat ha ha!
I too am excited about new look cross stitcher, to the point that I have noted the date in my diary as a treat to myself after our mini- ofsted at work next week- how sad am I?

Here's what I've been woking on the last two weeks...nearly there!! It's been really interesting, using blending; fractional (vertical and horizontal) stitches as well as working with two and single threads. Will post it when I am finished. This is the first of two pictures I am making for my Dad for Christmas....though this may change, as I keep thinking of other things I can make him!!

I have stopped the Elegant Lady who is for me in favour for the Xmas presents...though I would like to get her done by the end of the year...here's hoping!!

I think it is Janlynn but it's been in my "treasure chest" for about 10 years now so i've no idea how far along it is !

Hi all is there room for me?

I first cross stitched when I was about 9 or 10 and never done it since until a few weeks ago. I've fallen back in love with it again. I've made 3 bookmarks for xmas pressie and a decoration for the tree. I've now started into a picture of dolphins for myself which is very complicated and is going to take ages. I f i ever get finished i shall have to put a pic up.

Does anyone used a stand or frame while cross stiching? My neck is getting sore looking down alll the time,lol
