  • ment to say not to use trainline but i wasn't sure the others let you collect from station on the day and thought wednesday was cutting it a bit fine to get them posted.
    I normally use Virgin trains.
First Great Western certainly allow collection from the station. :)

I can't remember if anyone posted one, but did anyone find a wash out/vanishing pen for use on black aida? I started Czar about 2 weeks ago and not done much at all, maybe blocking will help.

Its been a crazy week here, our spare room ceiling started leaking turns out the roof needs replacing  Thankfully its rented so i'm not footing the bill ;) We also rehomed a ferret, he is 17 weeks old and adorable, he loves to bite my hands, i think they look like chicken to him :rotfl:

Thanks - I tried it, but there aren't enough colours and what not so it's very unlike the actual picture.
I have found a company who will make up the pattern for £14, for an 8x10, not sure if that is good, bad or indifferent though!!

Not been here for a while....

This is the bit I'm working on...

And this is what it looks like so far...

    IMG0004B.jpg

Still need to finish off the last bit and the middle section, then I need to fill in the back stitch and extra stitches, and finish off the sky. I WILL have it done for this Christmas!

I'm going to start gridding the fabric tomorrow night, so I'll need all the concentration to do that!
  • Hi all,
Wonder if you could help me, my good friend's soon to be 3 year old is a huge in the night garden fan and Makka Pakka is her favourite. I thought I would give her a cross stitch card with Makka Pakka on it for her birthday (particularly as her little Makka Pakka toy was irreparable after it's last outing.
However, I can only find pattern charts some of the In The Night Garden characters on ebay and can't locate any complete kits.
I don't think I'm brave enough to go about buying the correct quantity of colours and thread independently.
So does any of you oracles on here, know if any of the companies are providing a complete kit. :j
