May be worth trying Dream Cream from Lush. I used to work for them & so many people swore by it to sooth sore, itchy skin. And it's natural, so better for you. They should give you a sample to try if you explain your problem.

thanks hun, will nip in and ask them. don't normally buy lush stuff tooo out my price range.

I have a tube of gunk, 2 tubs of gunk (one mentholated), bath oil and allergy relief tablets. all cutosy of the nhs.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    Hiya
I've just finished my latest project - aurora cabin by dimensions - and I wanted something else to start. Not sure what to go for though. I can't even remember what sites are best to buy from it's been so long since I was looking lol. Anyone got any suggestions?

  • Hi All,

I did some gridding last night while watching Valentine's Day, got all my needles out and counted out the squares, like acupuncture.

I've also gridded my chart to match, as the current lines are a bit out of sync due to the change of page.

I've also used my magnifying accessory with my stand for the first time, much easier to see the threads.

    You're welcome.
I was going to mark the fabric and not wash it out for maybe 6 months because that's the absolute longest I can see the kit taking me to stitch. If you would like me to try washing a piece sooner (based on the time you think your fabric will be marked) just let me know and I'll happily oblige :)

:j i found my scarecrow chart! :j it was hiding in the fabric drawer.

but i dont have time to work on it now as i'm sorting out ready for my other half to leave for Romania tomorow - i'm more than a little apprehensive. wild bears, pitchfork wielding locals, deadly local home brew.... and that's just what the Rough Guide's introduction says!!:rotfl:

ooh, did anyone else get Septembers Number 1 Crossstitcher magazine? the one with the red and blue xmas card pack, in a sort of box. i wasnt going to - i've been on a magazine diet, very MSE. but i was at my local craft shop and couldnt help myself. at least i was supporting a local independent business.

i'm quite excited for the next one... it's about to go through a revamp... this issue is a bit more modern (the xmas cards and Cath Kidson rip off Lucie Heaton cowboy cushion especially), but the next one looks like a mix between a cath kidson catalogue and a Country Living photo shoot! whoop! just my thing! or will they be selling out and that following fashion will only date what i make?! what does everyone else think to the potential changes?
