37p for 8 meters? Is that correct?
Yep that's right. The lady offers fantastic service and I'd highly recommend them.
nmm welcome back! The Lions look fantastic! The frame really sets them off.
Soubrette. I love the little dolls, very cute. What a great idea for using up little pieces of thread!
It's not stingy, I call it enterprising!
Louise. Love the meercats, coming along great.
Keiss. Love the card for your MIL. Very pretty.
Here's my weekly update....

Ruth_honey wrote: »Sorry I've not been about much for a bit. I've not had chance to do much stitching at all. Doubt I'll complete my monthly challenge this month. Going away for the bank holiday weekend and not sure if I'll have space to bring it along as I'm planning on riding the bike there, so have limited space.
Feeling a bit down today. Spoke to my best friend and that didn't cheer me up. Had a long bath with a bath bomb and a magazine and that didn't cheer me up. Nor did the pack of Green & Blacks mini eggs I scoffed afterwards...:o Don't know what to do with myself now.:(

Thanks for the nice replies, i'm glad you guys like it too
I've done a couple of cross stitch cards but thats been it, nothing big since the lions. I just bought a crochet hook and some wool so trying my hand at that whilst i decide what to stitch next. I did find a really cute lion cub which would look great next to the lions, i'm still drooling over Beautiful Dreamer by kustom krafts, please be half price at xmas :rotfl:

Good afternoon fellow stitchers!
Any tips on where I can order cheap thread from?
Hello
How much do you need? I bought 50 for £13 (i think) from acrosstownstitching. She's on ebay and her own website. Quick response, accurate and fast postage. You pay by paypal.
Hope that's useful x
Me again - sorry for the duplicate post - I was reading the stuff that had appeared while I was on holiday, and just replied while I saw it rather than try and remember to do it later! Anyway, she's good, so she deserves the extra recommendation!
Glad to be back in the rainy UK after a week in hot sunny Greece. Ah joy, back to work tomorrow!!
I LOVE the lions!
Keep smiling all, see you soonx

Thanks. Hubby cooked me steak & chips and we had Ben & Jerry's for dessert. Still feel down, but off to bed now & hopefully after a good nights sleep I'll feel better.

Thanks Kez.
It was Cookie Dough. Hubby bought 3 flavours in Tescos the other days because they're half price. Might still be on offer in Morrisons too.
Am really gonna try & get some stitching done tomorrow. Once I get into it again, I know I'll feel better.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
