awesome2 - I have ordered loads of wool from them in the past and they have been great. Not ordered any X-stitch stuff, but I expect they would be just as good.

Off to get some ironing done...see you tomorrow.

You brought back some memories. Alot of my late husbands family stay in and around Wrexham - Penycae, Rhos (dont ask me to spell it in full - if you live there you know what I mean - lol), Johnston, etc. He went to St Joesphs. Lived there for years (most of his high school days and after). I have not been down since he died - went once, never been back - his family have not made me feel "at home/welcome" with them since he died. Sad used to like going to Wales - would love to show new hubby it. If I mind right the Maelor is the hospital. Went there alot because of family and friends but also he had to attend the hospital in Manchester - it had a specialist clinic.
Kind wishes

Camera gone missing - probably hubby has it somewhere - so can't do my update as yet.:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0 -
Good afternoon fellow stitchers!
Any tips on where I can order cheap thread from?0 -
Hi guys, long time no see  I've been lurking now and then but will have good read through when i get a chance. I did spot Louise's framed lady at the lake, i think it looks really elegant and not too fussy
It inspired me to get my lions framed, so being a cheapskate i opted for a £6 clipframe off ebay, lol it was too big looked stupid and too flimsy. So a couple of weeks later i ordered a lovely wooden custom frame from http://www.ezeframe.co.uk/ it came in at £27 delivered not bad considering the cross stitch is 58cmx33cm. So here it is perfectly framed and the rebate of 5mm hides where its stretched slightly :j
I love it, i hope you like it too. I will try and take a straight on picture when its not like the dark ages in my front room :rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

Hi Swetcarer
Its sis surprising when you talk to people on forums how many you actually live by or had lived near. Hope the momories were good ones, you could still show your hubby Wales there is a lot more to see Bala Lake, Snowdonia, lots of lovely beaches. Mind you I wouldn't mind going to Scotland either believe it is beautiful.
Take Care0 -
Am off to London tomorrow and not sure if hotel has free wifi in the rooms so will be back after the weekend
How was your weekend away, Dorastar? I was in Oxford street with my Mum on Thursday and it was sooo busy!definately not fair, i will need another recommendation on where to get the bothy threads now
And at £19.99 with free uk delivery i thought that was good too.
It is a good price-cheapest I've seen online-but no reduction from before the 'closing down sale'. Across Town Stitching is the next cheapest I've found.Hi guys, long time no see  I've been lurking now and then but will have good read through when i get a chance. Your lions look totally fab! The frame is perfect with it and £27 seems like a good price to me. You should have people over for afternoon tea or something so they can admire it!
Sorry I've not been about much for a bit. I've not had chance to do much stitching at all. Doubt I'll complete my monthly challenge this month. Going away for the bank holiday weekend and not sure if I'll have space to bring it along as I'm planning on riding the bike there, so have limited space.
Feeling a bit down today. Spoke to my best friend and that didn't cheer me up. Had a long bath with a bath bomb and a magazine and that didn't cheer me up. Nor did the pack of Green & Blacks mini eggs I scoffed afterwards...:o Don't know what to do with myself now.:(Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

One more question (please be gentle, I am new at this malarky :P)
