While I save up for some needles and yarn, I'm going back to cross-stitch for a little while, as I still have a few kits for completion.
Just realised that I don't have a weekend to myself for about 5 weeks!
Wow that looks great . Well done you.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -

i've almost done the 2nd embrodiary square, just stitching the threads whichever way i feel like :rotfl:

hmm, nicely organised, I'm ashamed of mine. I've decided I need to tackle my upstairs room that has many roles - spare bedroom, office, storage room for brother's clothes (just divorced, staying with me) and sister's crafts (major house extension works going on) and last\least my craft room !
We could all post pics of our craft space and stash to give each other ideas .....maybe not, I don't need any encouragement !

Chicky. Cat's look great framed.
Here's my weekly update.
Last week....
and this week....
Had to make some alterations this week so to me I don't seem to have done as much as I would have liked.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

You could get the mount trimmed back a bit. I would if I was you, as it's gonna bug you every time you look at it. When I had my Titanic pic mounted & framed, the mount cut off a tiny bit of the picture, but it wasn't right so I took it back & she trimmed the mount back a bit. If you take it to a framers, I'm sure it'll hardly cost anything. Or if you feel confident, get a craft knife and ruler and do it yourself.
It's a great pic, by the way, so well done! :T
And your craft area is very organised. I'm jealous!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

wow that is really organised and also a hell of a lot of cross stitch related stuff!!! I have to admit that I tend to just put mine in my sewing box and leave them there!
I have had most of mine finished projects framed and given them away as gifts but haven't had the time (or the money) to get the rest framed! Hopefully will be able to in time for christmas though as that would be a few presents sorted!! If I was you I think I would definitely need to cut the mount as that would bug me forever!Keep on comping!

Thanks for the encouragement
My storage contains of:
One sewing box, stuffed with kits, needles and aida.
One storage thread box, which does fit in the above when I can be bothered.
A bedside table which holds my magazines, small frame and those little free kits you get with mags.
My freestanding frame is hiding in the wardrobe which is used for storage as it's just me in my house...
I don't have much luckily and am planning on keeping my 'stocks' low so that it's not taking up much room.
Anyone used these before?

Thought they looked quite good for the mags.0
