It's a pillow by an American company called Pine Mountain cross stitch. The pillow case is already made up, with the aida panel stitched in. All you do is stitch the design on, pop the pillow part inside and pull the ribbon through the hole to hold it in place! That's my kind of finishing...:rotfl: QUOTE]
Love this and have a trip to nimble thimble planned so can't wait!
Quilt square is still missing so have taken Fillmore on hols and got quite a bit done, despite ds asking if it was finished every 5 minutes. Have no idea where the quilt square is now and am dreading having to restart it (grrrrrr) cos obviously the minute I do it will turn up again. Am going to be a really good teacher/adult type person and go into work for the next few days cos dh starts his job training soon and am hoping he will get onto a permanent full time contract by the end of the summer - this has been a long time coming and just need him working now for all our sanity's sakes:pMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000
Savings for big things £90170 -

Oooh, lucky you! Have you been there before? I love that shop & could spend all day in there browsing the charts & admiring the kits on the walls.chickywiggle wrote: »thanks ruth_honey will go see if i can find some tomorrow............ hmmm actually think i may have some squirty stuff......
Mum still reckons the soap is the best of the range, but whatever you've got is worth a try. How bad is it still? Could the marks be hidden by a mount or stitching?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Hi ladies.
Ruth I love the pillow, very sweet.
AFM. I don't have much to say except I haven't done a stitch since, maybe Friday
I'm quite disappointed in myself. I love the design I am doing but as I said before I am finding working on evenweave slow going.
Here's my progress for week 1:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Hiya guys, just popped on to say hello to everyone, not been on for a while. Am busy doing the Beatrix Potter sampler for Dgs also just finished a chicken pic from this months cross stitcher mag in navy red and white - its come out really crisp looking. Everyone seems to be very busy on here and some great stitching going onClearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -
I can't seem to get in the stitchy mood - have prepared my Think Green frog for stitching (bought this at the same time as the trio of frogs and this one looks easier) but told myself to finish my Lion Rampant first. HOWEVER - I've just to fill in the flag with yellow then backstich and really can't seem to face doing the filling in as it seems really boring  Does anyone have any motivational ideas?
I really am desperate to start my think green frog but feel soooooo guilty about the amount of UFOs I have (ie a huge submarine for my dad's 75th in October which needs LOADS of work to complete)
I also got my wimblebees order and everything was there except the skein organiser which I noticed had gone from my order before it was despatched):T
Have decided I'm not talking to my Dad because he was rather mean about my stitching - I showed him my wimblebees order and told him that my friend had commented that she thought I was really talented at cross-stitch judging by my past work. When I told my Dad this he simply said 'well she's not going to come out and say you're rubbish, is she' Dads can be so mean sometimes grrrrr
Anyway sorry for the huuuuuuuge post hope everyone is well - am off to read my copy of cross stitch collectionNSD November 1/20 :money:

Thanks - will get on with stitching a new tax disk after the quilt square! My house is honestly not as disorganised as it sounds it's just a small boy who likes stashing stuff away when we are not looking (well when his dad is not looking tbh:p)Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Great you found your square Dora :T
Still not done any sewing this week ...manic at home and work atm...hope to get some done over the weekend, if not before. Forgot to take my sewing to the hosp this morning...but talking to sis & mum of DS2's fellow diabetic pal as we waited for aaages! Good to catch up, but I would have been happier getting the sewing done as well!!
Going to crash now...extremely manic @ work (even managed to sit another assessment yesterday/today - fitted around work hours) ...nearly 30 hours this week in all, and there may be more!!...you'd never guess I worked part-time!! Still, it's good to get some extra money.
Will post piccies once I have finished.
