can i ask about that frame? it's got 2 holes like the one in the pic below. is the second one just to make it open better? i dont force the rod into the second hole do i?

also, it's got holes that look like they are for screws, like on this one, on the opposite side to where the holes u put the frame in. do i need to do anything with those?

It goes in the top slot, not in the hole.... how did you plan to get it in the hole :P

well, i was wondering about bashing it with a hammer to get it down into the second of the holes, the one connected to the top slot by a slit... and right now i could say the same as you! think i'll stop there. it works. i'll not worry.

Well it is a long time coming fingers crossed here is my latest cross stitch this is the biggest I have done so far.The names I have had to add on here goes

Kittens are now FINISHED!!!!!! Pics tomorrow (hopefully).

Gotta make a start on the dreaded embrodiary piece (well have made a start and hate it but deterined to finish it as I think it'll look fantastic.

Think I may do "I stitch, therefore I stash" or make a start on some of the cards I need to do alongside it so I can still be part of the Cross-stitch cafe + I think i will need the motivation to get on with the embrodiary.

Morning all:)

Have been reading but not posting much as no matter how much I seem to stitch my Rocky point doesn't seem to grow! Have been doing about 3 hours every night and I can see that a lot is being marked off on the chart but it doesn't grow as quickly as I would like. Hubby is off this week so will get him to do the picture thing as I am rubbish. Will show my last 2 while he is at it.

We spent all day decorating yesterday with one child at nursery and the other at nanas for a sleepover- his first and he is 5. I have had the worst night's sleep ever:o I know he is happy and safe but feel as if one of my chicks has fallen out of the nest:o
We are off to Ikea shortly then back to put the last coat of emulsion on the walls and build up the desk and chair we are going to buy. I will finish the decorating as hubbie hates it - the air has been as blue as the walls :rotfl:

And can anyone recommend a line marker?? I bought the one that someone posted an ebay link to and I'm sorry to say I don't like it. It says 24- 48hrs on it and it went in 10 mins:eek: so I need the one which comes out in cold water I thnk. Can anyone recommend a brand please?
