Hi ladies.
I feel my progress is very slow at the moment. I don't mind too much as I'm not in a hurry to get finished but when I look at it after a couple of hours stitching it doesn't look much different to when I started.
I am finding evenweave more fiddly to work with than aida and that forces me to concentrate much more
With aida you can't really make a mistake with using the wrong holes but with the evenweave I have made plenty......usually when I am doing a fractional stitch....I forget to miss a hole and wonder why the stitch is so small :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

ohh Dorastar I dooooo empathse.
My DS has lost (by lost mean he decded to empty my sowing basket and now I can't find) the thread for the last bit of my kittens. Well he lost 2 but I have managed to make do 1 of them. Unfortunatly the other one formed my border which I had started.
so i went into my nearest shop to work - ohh no they have stopped selling DMC threads. so i bought the Anchor 'equvalent'. but it's a completly different shade and not even close.
Guess I am resound to going into the independent shop near my house (if it's open) - ARGGGGGGG. I just want to get this one finished, as some of the backstitch goes over the border I can't even finish that.
welll hooo hummm............ off to see if i can work out this embrodiary kit then in the meantime as I will have to track it down on ebay if the local shop hasn't got it.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
