    Morning all

Well I thought I would pop in and catch up with everyone before I settled down with my sewing for the day :D
*Louise* -that is looking great :T....I could be tempted to do that one -might drive me nutty though with all those greens :rotfl:

Well on Friday I decided to go on the sew-along site and order some fabric...I have planned that once "forest light" is done and I have sewn my beads onto "celtic summer" I'm going to run 2 projects at the same time :p
I want to get this one done for xmas:-
    http://www.mysticstitch.com/detail.aspx?ID=357
now its supposed to be done on white and you x-stitch all the black background -but I decided to do it on dark fabric, then I will add some blending filament to the white for the snow and some metalic to the stars-I thought it was going to be dark blue as I have only ever seen black aida (and I hate aida) -well when I went on sew along ... they now do BLACK LINEN :j-so I ordered that and a piece in blue so I can choose -and I will sew the santa during the day when the light is better and then I can do my "golden earth"
    goldenearthwu7.th.jpg
    ....
I also ordered the evenweave for when I start "garnet" -I had to order a meter length  as the design area will be 28.5" X 43" (400X600 stitches)-and I like at least 3" extra on each edge for framing... mind there will be some I can cut off and use for another project..
right enough waffle -I had better get on and get some more done... hope everyone finds time to do at least a few stitches today :D

    Morning everyone.

Just wanted to remind you, if you are clearing out your stash, that today is the free listing day on ebay.:j

Also if there is something specific you are looking for, to keep an eye out on there this week as lots of things will be listed. And before you ask, no I'm not touting for business. I've not got any kits left to sell at the moment;)

I'm listing all my maternity stuff so everytime baby sleeps today I will be doing that so my chances of stitching are slim. Hope to get some more done this week though.:o

Sun is shining here so I might even manage a walk a bit later. :T

Have a lovely day all, xxxxx

Very proud mummy to Gorgeous baby girl - 29/09/09 :j

Thanks to all who directed me to Quidco - £289.30 since Nov 09
  • *louise* Fantastic progress there! I bet it's hard keeping going with it when it's so complex? I haven't done a complex one yet, but I've bought one of those Anchor Gold Collection ones for when I've caught up on my other kits and done these Christmas ones I want to do.

Searching_me; I think that will look great stitched up and well done on designing your own picture. Are you going to add nephew's name etc? Look forward to seeing your progress.

Mrs.M. You must have a lot of walls for all your pictures :D I am in envy at how quickly you stitch up. Never used evenweave will have to try it sometime (sorry aida fan here :p)

Louise; That picture is stunning, well done you keeping at it. I think it is coming along very quickly. I think I might have to get one of those pens next time I do a bigger project.

At the moment I'm working on 3 cats from last months x stitcher mag. Its not something that I would normally do but the bright colours caught my eye and as its a cushion cover will add a bit of colour to my mink coloured settee. I will try and post a photo but need hubs to do that for me:o
