I'll keep a list of who is doing it so if everyone can post. I might chose a design in its place if thats ok as I dont really have a stash, cant afford one! lol
I was thinking the other day, how about we do a card swap. e.g if everyone tells me when their birthday is and the kind of things they like to stitch and receive I can pair people up and then we all get an mse card on our birthdays.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j

One of my best friends had a baby recently. She was born on Valentine's Day (everybody.."awwwwww!"). Obviously, I knew my friend was pregnant for a while, so I thought I'd make her a baby afghan blanket. It was a pattern I'd used before, so I knew how long it took.
Well...life gets in the way, yaknow?I finally delivered it yesterday, three MONTHS late! Didn't seem to matter, she loved it.

(Oh - and for whoever it was celebrating washing their cross stitch - I sat by the washing machine praying that the colours wouldn't run with this one! I mean, it'd be pointless giving someone a baby blanket if you couldn't stick it in the machine, but still - I've never put cross stitch in the washing machine before! I don't think my washing machine knew what a "Delicate" cycle was before yesterday )0 -

I won't be doing the stitch/stash one (although I'm really looking forward to the housework is for people who can't cross stitch I must do that!) as I really need to be getting on with other things but I'd love to take part in the birthday/Christmas challenge.
Stitch wise I did very little yesterday as DD had a birthday party to go to and I ended up gabbing to my new neighbours for agesso I got the teeny's wee bit done last night I promise to try better today.;) I'm sitting here waiting for OH to come back from the shop one is closing this morning and everything is half price so I wonder what goodies I'll get :T
ETA Mags-cat love Isla she beautiful and well done on the Afghan. 3 months late is nothing I've been stitching one for my DD for over 6years now!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
