Was really pleased the other day as I found 3 x stitch charts in a cs - just what I wanted, and all for a quid!

I was wondering if I stitch a bookmark do you think it would go through a laminator? I guess I will have to give it a go. I want to send them to a charity for Christmas.

Chickywiggle!!!! Lol I can hardly shout im terrible at the moment for changing my mind on what i want to stitch! I really need to stick to just a couple at a time...but I just keep finding new ones!! :o So ill let you off :D
And anyway its whatever takes your mind off things and makes you smile thats best :) Hope it went ok at the hospital xx

Bubbles You've been very busy you are such a fast stitcher! Im glad your dad liked them, they are great. I don't really talk properly about being ill (thankfully im lots better than I was) but I thought this may help you to know that I was put on lithium when i was in hospital and from what i can remember I think it did help me, I remember after being released from hospital I kept having to go to have regular bloodtests to check my lithium level while I was taking it, im sorry i can't remember a lot i had a treatment and it affected my memory which was actually quite a good thing, anyway I just wanted to help. And you're right hearing your story would help some people, and you are very brave for even thinking about telling your story, I know it will take a lot of courage. xx

funfairprincess ive had a quick look and also found that copy on ebay but ill have a look and see if I have any good patterns.

Lol 23rdspiral the image of that really made me smile...thanks :D

Witchwoopiggy I agree multi quoting more than three would be so much more helpful! Ill definitely be taking a look at your blog :)

ive made a start on one of my quilt squares, only done a little as am having to sort out a few bits and pieces online and in the house but im getting there slowly :D

  • Still no camera lead so no update (i wonder if there's a site that you can text ur image to from your phone). But i've used all my black wool now....notice i say used all my black wool, not finished all the black  . So i'm on to the red bits now, still hoping to complete my challenge.

Like most of you i'm leaving my quilt patch for june.

I did ask this a couple of weeks ago but no 1 responded, there was a cross-stitch magazine i saw in tescos- think it was cross-stitcher but im not sure. It had the elephant- humphrey on one of the charts. Any chance some one can scan me a copy? Being on the sick i cant really justify nearly £4 when i only want one chart.

Oh also i remember a while back people were talking about us stitching a chart to do with our stash- whats happening with that, has it went on the back burner since we started the quilt thread?

Yeah I wasn't sure what to do about the foot, I thought outlining it in red might make it look odd and not fit in but glad I did it now as I think it looks much nicer. Thanks for what you said about her being magical, it really means a lot. I think its going to be quite emotional when my mum actually sees it. The fact its angel of the new dawn and my breakdown and everything it just signafies alot.

Sorry to hear about your migraine that is but yet isnt! It does make sense. Staring at a screen would only make it worse so I think you did the right thing phoning in sick, hope it gets better for the weekend.

thanks bubbles - i really do mean what i said. there is something very magical about her - maybe due to all the meaning and posative intent you stitched her with? i would have said more but worried people would think i'm odd! also its nice to know someone else thinks a notquiteamigrane is something in itself. i've been fine today, despite the heat...

well, fine apart from people cancelling coming to view our house at the last minute, and me tidying up for 2 hours and putting camping stuff away that will only need tobe got out again.. and it was only booked at 5.45 last night!

As for the I stitch therefore I stash design, if everyone who wants it pms me your email address I will try and get it scanned in and sent out tomorrow.
