 Hi Everyone, not been on for a while, got soooo many pages to catch up on!

 I see the quilt is back up and running, guess I'd better get busy. I confess I've been lazy and done no stitching for a few days. I can't see me finishing my bookmark in May if I've got to start my square, but we'll see. I don't want to fail on my monthly challenge!

I've skimmed through and looked at the piccies, everybody's work looks fab. I love the angel Bubbles, she looks amazing now she's finished :T
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

Haha he is a full grown Chihuahua so the angel isnt that huge, god imagine how long it would have took if he was a great dane!!!! And never mind the cost of the huge material! The dog is 15 inches long if that puts things more in perspective.
You've ruined it for me I thought he was a great dane and you were superwomen 000202AF.gif:rotfl::rotfl:
It was the tell us your story bit I was thinking of sending it in to, to b honest I could do with something more to stitch because after I have done my treble clef all I have is card kits so telling my story and how the angel helped me could help with that. And also as I noticed on here a lot of people who stitch have depression/bi polar so talking of my experience with a nervous breakdown and bipolar might help someone. It could also be a chance to publically thank my mum for everything she has done since my breakdown, getting diagnosed with bipolar took months and months and she had to put up with alot. I dont tell her much in person so I think her reading it would be special. Do you just write what you want to say and then they edit it as they want?

I've just had a wee look in the mag you can either write to them at Your Story, The world of cross stitching, origin Publishing, 9th floor, Tower House, Fairfax street, Bristol, BS1 3BN or email Hannah@cross-stitching.com. For readers in the UK it's a years subscription to the magazine as 'payment'.

hi, no time to stop and read back but will later.

just wanted to say that we painted the front door surround yesterday... so we couldnt close it... so i was forced to grab the fabric and threads id sorted the other day and start on the 'curious quilter' patchwork heart that ali kindly sent me. :)
sitting in the sun on the front step stitching amused the neighbours!

I was having a wee think last night and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem... I posted this a couple of days ago and I don't think anyone has it...

Does anyone have a copy of Cross Stitcher issue 202 ????????? If so could I please have a nudge from someone of the to teach is to touch a life sampler. My kids school is closing down and I'd like to stitch it for the Head Teacher who is also retiring.

.... and was wondering if anyone has anything else they think would be appropriate for me to stitch. I really want to do something nice as this teacher has really gone the extra mile to help my DS2 with his reading. The only thing is I need to have it completed by June 18th at the latest. I would be eternally greatful to anyone who can help.

Mr Uncle Bowler is still progressing basically just the grass and backstitch to do and I hope to get some of that done today.

Happy stitching everyone.

well I have a confession. been in the hosp for a few hours this morning and.......welll....ermmm..... it was easier to take a new cross-stitch in to pass the time then take a started one so ....... ermm.... sorrryyyyy........ but i loveeee this one tis my "i hate 4 letter words: iron, dust, wash, cook". tis a bloomin nightmare tho as all the large lettering cuts half/ just into the squares. not one is straightforward!!!!

please don't shout at me (and even if you do i have covered my ears so i can't hear you, nurr nurr)
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
