QUESTION: Who have been the best and worst recipients you have stitched gifts for??
Best: My mum loved a fireside cat i did as it reminded her of our one that passed away.

I don't really have a worst recipient, i have a worst attitude though. I said to my dad i was cross stitching, he said "are you that bored!!!!" We're not exactly close :rotfl:

Hmm still no stitching and long and tedious governors meeting tonight :( Got stich and b**ch with friends tomorrow night though so plan to get on with ickle bits of fairy chart (Ems birthday not till end of Sept!) Than got to finish m-i-l's flower vase cross stitch. Good job I've got 2 weeks off starting next friday wooohhooooooo

Have started quilt square for lovequilts just to keep me going a tiny bit - am being oh so careful with it (am normally a bit messy on the back cos life is too short) but this is going to be made into a quilt for a poorly child so wanted it to look smart and neat.

    Hello,

I am still getting on with my Calendar Bears, but my HAE chart arrived today :j it's huge!

I want to get all the threads and stuff sorted, I am going abroad for 8 months from the end of June so am taking it with me.

It says how many skeins I need, but I assume that it based on using the recommended 25 count linen. However the Sewalong site said it could also be stitched on 18 count aida, which I think is more realistic. So how do I work out how many skeins I need for that?

nmm OOOh those lions are fab. You must be so proud .

skoobie Santa is looking really good .

Louise just wanted to say thanks again for the princess sleeps here . I started it this morning and my grandaughter spotted the chart and she's thrilled that it's going to be for her.
