have just been looking at my mr men and i'm not happy with the grid lines, they are done in 2 strands of black think i might re do them in one strand they look untidy and really thick in 2, its only on 18 count aida.
anyone think it will look silly in 1 strand or does anyone have any other ideas of what i could do with it?
hope everyone is well today

You want to unpick all of that stitching??
omg, rather you than me.....
You would have to be careful you don't get fibres left from the black thread that will stick to the fabric after you 'reverse stitch' it. Personally I can't see anything wrong with it....any chance of a closer pic?Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Hahaha, I think that is a brilliant idea :rotfl::rotfl:
Your Hubby has no artistic vision if he doesn't agree to it:rotfl:

I'm sorry I haven't got round to posting that update on santa, I will soon I promise!

Thanks everyone. The design was the free cover kit from World of Cross Stitching magazine issue 151. These are quite often available on ebay if you want one.
I'm afraid the scanner on my printer has never worked so I can't scan it in for you, sorry, but maybe you can find one for 99p.

thats a good point might wait untill i have done some men and then see how it looks

Right, finally sorted. Sorry, this is going to be a big post.
This was the practic vest, for Kezia, as I'd never used waste canvas before.
And the close up
And this is the vest that I stitched for my new nephew.
with the close up:
I can't say that I enjoyed using the waste canvas at all and have sworn 'never again' but they do look particularly cute so maybe next year when I've forgotten what a pain it was.
Back on to humphrey now, got a bit more done last night as nursery wore the little lovely out, but today I'm meeting up with a friend then going to Baby Massage later so probably won't get a lot done today.
Have a great day everyone.

I have never used waste canvas before but was considering using it to stitch a large design like my angel on a cardigan. Having 2nd thoughts now!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j
