:T hey bubbles, she's looking lovely! i'm glad the odd colour on the dress doesnt look odd anymore. you must have so much patience for all those beads, but it does look so lovely with them.
Thanks for your reply spiral, i'll check out the links after this post

Well the ones i was thinking of were these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360229182873&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_2657wt_1059 which state they are acid free, but i am now wondering weather to choose these cheeper ones- but they also look thinner as well as not stating they are acid free- but they do say archival safe http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-SLEEVES-STORING-AND-DISPLAYING-TRADE-CARDS-/260587742400?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Collectables_TradingCards_RL&hash=item3cac3d64c0#ht_559wt_1165 .

I was considering a way round the sticker issue is just to write the numbers on paper and put a leaf with the numbers on infront of each pocket- but then again i would probably need acid free paper if i wanted to do it all properly.

hi spotty butterfly - those ring binder wallets look nice - your threads would be really easy to find! i've not been into my office in a while due to working off site but will look up the 'polypropolene' they are made from. i think the sleeves we use for old fashioned photo slides are polypropolene. we recomend polyester, but i'm not sure of the specific differences. http://www.arrowfile.com/category.aspcat_id=REFICLEAR&pf_id=&jump=8&sfile=1= i know a few volunteer museums who use Arrow brand - they've got 10 6 hole sheets for 4.99. they look very much like the ones on ebay!

:D OOh, i've just found these: http://www.priceninja.com/10-x-econostore-9-pocket-transparent-pages-2259278-p.asp 15p each! sounds like a bargain to me!! :D

the main brand of acid free 'paper' is called tyvec - it's an odd woven cloth like stuff that won't fall apart even if its submerged under water for years! but it's acid free so wont give off the acidic chemical vapours, that increase the natural rate of decay in all plant/animal based products, which you are looking to avoid.

sorry, i'll stop there! (i'm dyslexic with organisational issues, and one of my personal issues is to fully understand something before i make any decisions. i have to remember not everyone is like that. i'm sorry if i've totatlly bamboozled you!)

Im still not sure about the colour on the dress if I am 100%. I still think the cream bits down the front look a bit off and also the thing that really annoys me, I dont think the fact that her foot is out really shows up, it looks like part of the dress but not sure how to correct it.

This was the practic vest, for Kezia, as I'd never used waste canvas before.

    And the close up

And this is the vest that I stitched for my new nephew.

I can't say that I enjoyed using the waste canvas at all and have sworn 'never again' but they do look particularly cute so maybe next year when I've forgotten what a pain it was.

Back on to humphrey now, got a bit more done last night as nursery wore the little lovely out, but today I'm meeting up with a friend then going to Baby Massage later so probably won't get a lot done today.

    Have a great day everyone.

Harley1: They came out really well. You've given me an idea to use my Tigger waste canvas kit, I've got a number of people giving birth in August time, so I could do something similar for them.

I did a bit on mine yesterday. It's interesting watching the colours build up as I go on.

Though I seem to be coming down with a cold, so am not impressed. No Lemsip for me due to my tablets, so will power through.
