He said they have a range of frames for £4.99 all sizes are one price. He came back like a child in a sweetie shop (bless) so excited he has bought a huge frame for £4.99. Thank you for the advice Keiss21!

    I have this HAE: http://www.sewalong.co.uk/ProductFull.asp?sel1=(HAE)JF05S - says it'll be 19.5" by 15.25" if I use 18 count and 14" by 11" if I use 25 count.

It's 350 by 275 stitches? Not as big as the astronomer!

I said Aida as I've never used anything else and am a teeny bit scared!

    That design is gorgeous :happyhear

Don't be scared...it's just like doing any other design, only it takes a little longer to complete lol :D

It will look just fine on aida, I go by the rule that if there's no background on display I use aida, (you can't tell when it's done) if there is fabric displayed then I use evenweave.

Yay actually got some stitching done last night - the end of the fairies is in sight. Will try to do a photo later, got 2 big toadstools, some wings and some backstitching to do then it can be framed (at long last)

Kezybabybabe - congrats for completing 3 of 4 UFOS! :T that bear is so cute!! i've heard back from my friend and her response was that she has an eraser and is willing to use it! also she could then use the colours she already has and/or make the outfit more personal to her niece! i'll pm you if that's ok?
No problem, just PM me the address to post it to and I will send it out. :)

awesome2 - i use flickr, and have for a few years, before needing to post pics on forums that is... and i do love it. i upload using their tool and it's easy and quick. then i just look at my photostream and copy the image i want using the mouse then paste into the comment box here where i want it. simple. and no code for me to mess up! here's me: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23rdspiral/

i like flickr because as its aimed at photo sharing i can add my pics to groups on every subject under the sun, comment/recieve comments, and join team projects such as the hexagon quilt along i'm doing... and through that i'm swapping fabrics internationally and having a lovely time.:) i dont know if the other photo places do this sort of thing?

the only issue i have is a very recent one, is that i'm nearing having 200 pics and that's their limit on a free account. the older ones will still 'be there' but 'hidden' from my photostream, but will be seeable in any groups they are in. humm... perhaps i start a group just for my old pics?!;)

good luck with the method you choose -try a few and see what works for you!

Thanks 23rdsprial this is very helpful think I will have a go before I finis my cross stitch to see it I can do it ok

Not a stitch on Sunday, busy trying to sort out the garage  I now have 12 sacks of stuff for the recycling centre, which means 3 trips !

Off to bed now - it's 6 mins to 3 am , luckily I don't have to get up for work.
