wow talented people out there. I have 5 UFO's in the box which I would like to get these finished - especially the disney aristocats for my BF's nursery - baby due in 4 weeks :eek:

My others are two scenes that i picked up on hoiday last year for £1 in a thrift store, a simple sampler that seems to linger and a cross stich rug for my dolls house.

Would be great to get these finished - the scenes can be given away as prezzies for Xmas 2010.:D

yeah i guessed i needed to post more, any idea how many posts before i stop being a newbie ? ... how does this theroy thay have stop spamming? i will just post loads till i can post the pics and most of it wont be of any use at all !!

or....you could send your link to someone who has been a member for longer (eg your sis) and they can post the link for you

Oooo a Cross-stitching Thread. I didn't know there was one of those here.

Hi all, my name's Kerry, I've been doing cross-stitching on and off since Secondary School (I'm 27 now), most of them have been Winnie the Pooh kits with the odd sampler done for friends and family.

I'm planning on doing a cross-stitch for each of my loved ones this year. :eek: A big challenge I know, since I can start one and then put it down for ages...

I'm trying to get in to the habit of taking a picture of the previous days stitching to see how I am coming along.

I think I might come back and let you know how I'm getting on. I don't think my family and friends are on here, so I can share with you the progress of my new christmas projects, when I get a move on.

Wow, MummyClaire you've done a lot of projects. I recognise some of them from Cross Stitcher magazine! I particually love your 'Babys first christmas' design though, it's really cute. You make me with I'd taken a photo of all the projects I've done, even the really small ones. I've done loads but not kept records of them.

Maria, your lillies look beautiful. they must have been difficult on the black fabric but the finished project looks well worth it.

Kerry, you're very diciplined to take a picture every day. it's lovely to be able to see your progress though.

I've been really pleased with my progress on Santa this week, here is where I was at on Jan 9th

I've been concentrating on the backstitch in the beard, and on the white sleeve cuff on the left of the picture.

Morning everyone, can I join please? Have been cross stitching since a friend introduced me when we were at Uni. have been following this thread and love all the designs, you're all so talented.
