just picked up me little girl from her 1st day of school and she loved it. not got to go out again today but have soooo much housework to do that i cant justify sitting down to stitch which is a big shame
i also love to see updates of everyones progress

Had a lovely day stitching but made a boo boo early on and had to unstitch quite a bit. I did her face then realised I had left one line of pink stitching out on her neckline DOHHHH!
Am I the only one that HAS to put all the facial features in once the face has been stitched? (while leaving all other backstitching etc til last) It kinda gives my stitching character.

I'm Claire , i'm Laura's (Chickwiggle's) sister ... she told me i had to join you guys as i had lots of x-stitch pics i have stared and not finished ... i used to have a lot more time while my daughter Phoebe was a baby but since she has grown up a bit (she's now 2 1/2) i spend more time watching what she is up to and less on my stitching

i need to finish
* This years new years pic before next year !
* The Colchester United pic i started for my dad (for xmas) which is now gonna be for his birthday in Feb .. i usually stitch when i am theirs house at weekends so cant get it done then as its a serprise
*The Ivor the engine that i started 2 years ago
then i have lots of other pics i would like to stitch

Evening everyone...

Just passing through and technically this post isnt for me...
Im not a stitcher, tried but it was doomed to failure. Im more of a paint person...

Anyway, long story short... Im having a baby in june and DH and I have just agreed on a theme for nursery.
Does anyone know of a site that turns photos/images into cross stitch charts. My nan is a phenomenal stitcher and loves doing this kind of stuff.....

Or can anyone recommend any good toadstool patterns free to download online. Im not really looking for olde style, more americana/shaker style images...

God I am specific. Anyway if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated xx
